This figure is special to me. Bane is my favorite Batman villain and I really wanted this figure but didn’t have the money for it. So, my dad bought it for me on my birthday. My dad passed away last week and now every time I look at him it reminds me of my dad giving me this figure and brings back a lot of memories. Bane is a figure that I’ll never get rid of.

I try my best!

This was my first ever Hot Toys and started me on the path to HT collecting! Still love and prominently display this figure. Fun fact: the brown shirt isn’t from the opening scene, it’s actually to be worn under his vest to replicate how Bane appears in the final fight scene with Batman. 😊 Great review as always, Justin!

I’m glad to see you add Bane back to the collection. He and Catwoman were two of the first used HTs I bought almost 8 years ago. Catwoman also has the same box design as Bane. I never picked up the Two-Face 2.0 to complete my Nolan Rogue Gallery. Never felt compelled to get him 😞

You hit on a great point. I do support the official release nearly 100% of the time, this was one of the few times I thought the Phicen/Daft route ended up just a bit better for the look in my mind's "eye." Hardy is shorter than Bale, and Brolin is shorter than Reynolds, but on screen, Bane and Cable seem to tower over their counterparts.

I bought this same exact Hot Toys Bane figure when he first came out years ago, but I ended up selling him along with my Hot Toys Batman and Hot Toys Joker 2.0 DX11 figure... and now I have major regrets and miss them all!! 😂😭💔

Nice review! I've always wanted to get this figure, but I missed out because I was late to the game on it. It sucks about the damaged vest and the missing leather gauntlet. Nice fixes you did to it though.👍

Y'know it's really a shame there are no other official companies that have released a Dark Knight Rises Bane figure (except for MAFEX) because Bane is on of my favourite movie villains and I would love to have an updated, official release.

I swapped the body to the m33 and even with the m33 or m34 with the hot toys outfit (size wise) it works ok I had to shave the legs down a little,cutting chunks out of the legs, but I’m happy with it. Does the job. Also used the bane body for the trick or treat studios Michael myres as the body was terrible on that figure.

I did have this figure years ago, sold it eventually, the vest strings and complicated nature of taking off and on again was just to stressful for me and got messy. Hoy toys..not everything has to be replicated, just a Velcro strap on the back of the vest would have been far better than a dozen strings to thread and unthread which was just not worth the stress

Depends which you prefer

I believe the scale is accurate however I do prefer bane to be slightly bigger to joker. But Heath Ledger is the same height as Christian bale both 6ft. Tom hardy is only in the higher 5ft spectrum

I finally got my hands on bane and his forearm won't pop in to the rest of his arm. Everything else is great but damn that's annoying. I'd want to get the m34 or 35 body but not sure I it would be shorter in height. Great review BTW lol

Not well the older figures in this line were a bit smaller and Batfleck is a pretty tall Batman as it is. If you mess with perspective you might be able to get away with it but not in a side by side display.

Just finished seeing this review. It looks like you were sold a really beat up bane figure. I hope you got him cheap. Not sure if you noticed that your chest straps have come unglued. they should have a V pattern in the front. You can see the old glue stains where they used to be. Secondly, you are missing one of the tubes on his mask. It's one of the lower left ones (his right). I had bought a used one a while back with the same problem and it drove me crazy once I saw it. I had to buy a KO head and perform surgery to replace it. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Keep up the awesome work!

I prefer non-seamless. Rubber cracks so I avoid getting anything with rubber in it. Not a fan of seamless arms and rubber bodies at all and I dont bother with them.
