Armoured Batman was my 1st Hot Toys. This is an improvement but keeping the original. Mainly bc I don't want the hassle of selling figures.

I wonder since they revealed both the 2.0 BvS Batman’s. That there also giving us 2.0 Superman because Inart has one coming and not to meantion a Wonder Woman hopefully 🤞

Better likeness and paint apps, more faceplates, moveable eyes, usb led, die cast pieces (giving a satisfying weight to the figure), nice base, and with the deluxe offering - normal and BD options. It's a great deal. I wasn't interested at first, but once I saw what comes with the deluxe edition I am now very tempted. Yes, another Cavill Superman will almost certainly follow though personally I would much rather see a Christopher Reeve 2.0.

ive been waiting for a 2.0 cause i missed the 1.0 so im glad he's back. chrome look was my first pick tho but the regular is fine

Yeah man. I do agree on the 2.0-ing thingy. My thoughts are just the same as you. They should’ve done Christopher Reeves Superman and my next list would be Logan. I mean come on, it’s Logan ( one of the best movies of all time )

No releases. Is gonna be remake 2.0 for a lot of characters. The only reason Hot Toys releases because during pandamic assembly line shut down so the only way to make sales is the old stock.

i think they make 2.0 because many people cannot have the first one for a decent price. that is my case. then i will order 2.0 :-)

It's also much cheaper for them to recycle a figure/sculpt, splash on a new coat of paint, and charge a premium. They're also on banking on those that own the previous one has deteriorated in some way. But I agree it's nice to pull in a new group of collectors.

I missed the bvs line (i started collection with neca or equivalent few years after the movie) and I thought it wouldn't be possible for me to get these whereas i am in love with these caracters. Since batman knightmare 2.0 (my first hot toys) i dont miss new edition :-) Vengence lol
