That is a mighty fine base camp! If I went off-grid in the middle of winter, and didn't use my camp trailer, this would be perfect!

How long does it generally take to hand-air it up? We are thinking of getting one and wondered if the electric pump was better or if it wasn’t really worth the extra expense.

When inflated by hand, the tent inflates in 5 minutes at most. I do not need an electronic pump right now, but I may consider it in the future. ​

We learned as we got older that electric pumps are a good thing. Used to do bare minimum tenting and moved up through several types of tents to a tent trailer. Have done a lot of miles/kilometers with that trailer, about 50,000 km I think, with another 10k to do this summer. Fun way to see a lot of my country (Canada).

Looks like a Turkish Boz livestock guardian dog, was wearing a collar. Great dogs.

$3200 for that tent. Hope you get many years out of it. Real nice

The dog is not mine, it comes from nearby villages and plateaus, I try to feed it as much as possible.

It's not my dog, the dogs of the plateau houses around are used to protect the sheep herds. I think I'm trying to give food to the dogs that come to my tent. He probably went home after visiting the tent and eating the food I prepared for him.
