This video was one of my favorites. I know the feeling of coming home after a hot day of work and needing to cool off & get clean. Since I live in America, I tend to shower. But after watching the video, it shows how alike we all are, no matter our nationality or where we live. Favorite part of all your videos ate the cats at the end. Thank you.

We call that shellfish whelk here. The ones we call mussels are bivalves like clams in a dark shell. Both are delicious! Thank you for sharing the hydrangea tip. it would have never occurred to me to remove the cotton!

Thank you! When I saw them my first thought was snails but then she called them mussels. They didn’t look like any mussels I’d ever seen so I wondered if it was a mistranslation. I just looked up whelk and sure enough that’s them, “carnivorous sea snails.”

I’ll have to try that hydrangea trick next time. I just soak them flowers and all under cold water in the sink for a couple of hours once they start to droop. I can keep them going for a long time that way.

My grandma grew hydrangeas too, then my mom now it’s my turn up at my new house on the Oregon Coast. I’m excited! I cut my melons up like this and store in a big Tupperware in the fridge. It so easy to eat this way and convenient too. ❤

Do you know you can dry hydrangeas? Just hang them up in a dry place upside down. A dark place is also preferable but not essential 😁🌸

it's also very hot and humid in NYC. All big cities are very similar in regards to weather. I love how Japan have so many cooling items made to combat the heat.

Thank you Nami for another wonderful video, the embroidery also gave me nostalgia and the colors look good enough to eat 😊 For the pastry, it could be helpful to when it’s hot to keep the pastry as cold as possible before baking. You might try refrigerating the other pieces while you shape one piece, and then pop them all the in the freezer for a few minutes before going into the oven. This can help them keep their shape and stop the butter from coming out when it bakes.❤

Here in Argentina we have winter, a polar tide from the south. So good to see a little of a warm summer. Good video, love!🫂
