Billboard magazine just announced in their magazine that Donna Summer will receive a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award posthumously. She won 5 Grammy Awards all together. She is the only female to win Grammy Awards in different categories. R&B, Inspirational, Rock and Dance Recording

Great song...queen of disco music

Back when u didn't need to be half naked with a thousand dancers behind you, fog machines on max and blinding laser lights shifting in every direction to entertain a crowd. (Although the fireworks at this sold out Hollywood Bowl show were a nice touch.) Just one woman with an amazing voice and captivating stage presence. All she had to do was twirl that beautiful leopard skin dress and sing this timeless and AMAZING song and we were in love!!! I know Donna hated the term sex goddess but she certainly had a charm like no other. Captivating. Mesmerizing. And never to be forgotten. Take a lesson kids. No smoke and mirrors here. This is how it's done. And it starts with true TALENT. RIP QUEEN!!! You deserved even more flowers than they gave you!!! 💐💐💐

Donna had a wonderful stage presence. Twirling her skirt and doing the "penguin" walk just took it over the top. She was the best!

When this hit the radio airwaves in April, 1979 I had to go out and buy the 45 which I still have today. It was different than her other songs. Precious memories from Donna (I never ever referred to her as the queen of disco, a term she never liked) R.I.P. Donna, a victim of the after effects of 9-11. Spent 17 amazing weeks in the top 40 and three weeks at #1. As I recall no one ever got tired of hearing this song.
