Are there curtains or blinds between the open-air bath and bedroom for privacy?

Sorry for the late reply. If you only want to sightsee in the morning, I think it would be a good idea to go to Owakudani. It's the next station by the ropeway. You can leave your luggage at the front desk of the inn.
