This stuff you add to the diesel fuel is bloody great stuff bud!! I found it by watching a episode of engine power. It ain’t cheap especially living in England! I now ONLT buy their products for all my vehicles. Mercedes 270 cdi I’d 730 miles at 85 mph. The car is a CLK. 1.6 ton had 3 people in it at the time of the run it averaged 65MPG!!!! That’s with fresh service with hotshot stiction eliminator, in the motor and the hotshot diesel cleaner with cetane booster, and the 100% synthetic gas t Liquid oil!! Love the I’d bud! It makes me feel JUSTIFIED!!

Great video and Recommendations. I just bought a 2003 f350 super duty. Changed all the filters, fluids and also use Arch oil ar9000 friction modifier. Have you used arch oil if what was your experience. Just added hotshot extreme to the fuel today. She runs pretty good and hoping she will even be stronger. Great channel. Keep the videos coming

I run Amsoil Signature and Amsoil fuel additives in all of my diesels! I’ve used hot shot’s as well and really like it as well. 👍🏻

i been running both the stiction eliminator for years and just started using the EDT in my 19 ram . love both the products

Been using Amsoil since new with Lucas fuel injection cleaner I've noticed added mpg with both gas and diesel usually 2-3 mpg difference in some cases haven't figured it out on my dually but I'm sure it's there with that also!

Dont worry bud about being slammed at work. Were not going anywhere. What a hell of a time making this very video. Ive seriously been considering using the hot shot stiction and hot shot fuel additive in my 05 ram lately. I think you just pushed me into trying it. Thank you so much.

Quick question bud Ive got evwrything ready for my next oil change. I have the stiction, fuel cleaner from hot shot. I also got the fr3 from hot stot to. Can i use the fr3 at the same time i use the stiction cleaner? Thanks for a great channel.

For fuel additives in my 21 Powerstroke, I use the Hotshot EDT all the time because they at least advertise some test results for cetane and lubricity improvements. My main goal for using it is for the lubricity in protecting my fuel system. I honestly can't tell the difference in performance or mpg's when using it. But I have also used Motorcraft Cetane Improver and Diesel Kleen in my previous diesels (7.3 & 6.4) with no noticeable improvements either. I can only take their word for it that it actually increases the lubricity of the fuel.

It's also difficult to accurately calculate fuel mileage from tank to tank with these diesels because the truck may do a regen during one tank and not the next, in which case it will increase fuel consumption.

First oil change I did with mine 2015 6.7 Cummins I put amsoil signature series with the FR3 what a world of difference that made, so much smoother and quieter, people don't believe me when I say that just an oil change made as much difference as it made, plus I gained an mpg maybe more as well.. truly swear by amsoil and the hotshots stuff!!

Why are you sure like it? When you give us the right information you’re bad ass good job.

On my old 2007 6.7 i added stiction eliminator at 170k miles after delete for the first time and the change in the performance and the reduced clacking at idel was amazing. Now i have a titan with the 5.0 and ran the fr3 from hotshots at 47k miles after i bought it used and noticed a hige difference. I always run the edt on all my fuel fills as well. Hopefully soon ill delete my truck and enjoy better mpg. Right now my average is 13mpg the fact your truck said 15mpg on the dash is proof that emissions system is hurting the environment more.

I used Arch-oil for a little bit. Saw about 2mpg increase but did the math and said i wouldn't spend more for 2mpg than the fuel would cost. '95 7.3 324,000 still 17 mpg

Good video, I personally have zero experience with Amsoil , I am a fan of Valvoline oils, I use the premium blue full synthetic oil in my ram and as fuel additives go I use howes lube Diesel Defender and Diesel Treat.

I have been running the valvoline blue synthetic since first oil change, cummins recommended and its easy for me to find in Wyoming.

The smell 🤣 I hear you on that one. I've been running it since the day I bought my truck. Gotta prevent my CP4 from grenading. Stiction Eliminator is no joke. Works great for all engines. Try out HSS oil. I've been running their Green Diamond with FR3 and my truck seems like it's more snappy. Seems to run a little cooler when towing too.

Are you running stiction eliminator with the hss oil? I’ve been running their products for about 5 years. Just didn’t make the money difference change until now. Always run eliminator every oil change. EDT or edt/ winter being in Midwest, and diesel extreme twice a year.

@@hdstreet4524 I'm actually running Stiction Eliminator in my Green Diamond as we speak. I run it every other oil change. I use EDT every fill up because our diesel sucks. I may be forced to run renewable diesel soon because of Commufornia. I've been in close contact with HSS and they say they don't have tons of data on the effects of renewable desiel on our fuel systems, but they do agree with it having more lubricity and higher cetane rating. They advised me to still run EDT with renewable diesel until they have more data and to not let it sit more than 6 months. I'm glad you replied here because I need to order more oil from them.

No doubt amsoil Is very good however while I've been running hotshot products in my 12v I switched my oil to the hotshot oil and Trans fluid I swear this is by far the best products you can run in your diesel

Hot Shots is awesome bro! I use their 15W-40 Full Syn Green Diamond oil with the stiction eliminator. Awesome stuff and awesome people to deal with if you need commercial accounts with a discount.

I have not I thought about it but I heard locked shifts on 5&6 is hard on the output shaft or atleast the stock one

Can you use stiction eliminator on dirt bikes?

I like max mileage fuel catalyst. It’s a catalyst creating Higher burn temperature. Less soot. Greatly improves quality of diesel. More power baby.

The colors we are seeing in the fuel are the result of different crude oils being run through different refining processes and the catalysts used in the catalytic cracking during that refining.

Lots of different bio diesel. Notice it most at idle

I run hotshot's EDT at every fill up, and you can notice a difference. I work with a guy who deals Amsoil......so yes I run their signature series and the truck does idle alittle quieter. Yes I have run other products in same trucks, so no it's not a selling point.

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL I went camping with a buddy who has a beautiful Dodge dually. Went to grab our chairs from the side of his truck bed and couldn't reach them. And I'm 6'5 lmao. I don't have that problem with my F250 dually. Otherwise it's an awesome truck.

Great video. I've been using those products but in my case with Valvoline 15w40 full synthetic and so far the truck has been running fine. I would love to test Amsoil on my other truck.

The difference is a synthetic oil only has to be above 25% to call themselves full synthetic. Amsoil isn't full synthetic. It's 100% synthetic. I switched to Amsoil and don't ever see myself switching back. My 7.3l excursion has 335,000 miles on it. Still my daily driver and tow vehicle. Not gonna lie though, it's definitely not the cheapest of oils lol

I'm a huge Amsoil fan. I run the exact same oil you showed in my 7.3l Excursion. Also have the bypass filter. With that being said, I always find it hard to believe 2oz of any fuel additive will do anything when diluted with 44 gallons of fuel.

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL Do you run the bypass filter? If not, you should check into it. I did the math, with the price of the Amsoil, it pays for itself in 6 months to a year depending on how much you drive by drastically extending your oil life.

The fact is diluting will slowly removing the build up over time instead of passing large particles that could possibly clog something on the way out.

The hot shots diesel extreme is an awesome performer! Watch a video on it! Not to mention they have dyno proven gains on video with thier oil products!

I have noticed a difference in MPG using EDT. Haven’t branched out to their other products, yet.

Leave it the whole duration. I usually change my 68rfe fluid every 20-30k miles.

The stuff does work but it doesn't work over night, it takes a week or 2 of just keep on using it.

Per the owners manual. This truck is 14.5k intervals I probably won't go that far. On my 3rd gen the manual said 7500k. I know with proper testing u can definitely go past the intervals

Rod knocking number 5 on ur truck if I'm right that's the sound ur hearing drop ur pan replace rod bearings.

I use hotshots everyday every time I fill up and the hotshots injector cleaner over oil change I also just run seafoam in my oil a couple hundred before my oil changes and I use t6 shell my truck has 240000 miles and my engine oil is a yellow green color never black as when I first got it

It'll clean the engine out too, only thing with seafoam u need about 100-200miles of running it before changing the oil so it can clean the motor

Stiction is something that happens in trucks that have HEUI injection systems (Ford 7.3L and 6.0L Powerstroke engines). Stiction eliminator is a waste of money in trucks with common rail injection trucks since the oil is not used to run the injection system.

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL from the Hot Shot’s site “Hot Shot’s Stiction Eliminator for gas and diesel engines safely removes and prevents the gummy, sticky residue that builds up inside diesel HEUI injectors over time.” Adding additives to an oil like Amsoil that is carefully formulated isn’t recommended. Banks did a series on Amsoil and they go over the chemistry behind their oil. Stiction eliminator is good for HEUI systems that actually have it. It’s marketing hype for common rail engines; especially if you’re running a high quality oil like Amsoil.

My truck is at 62k I think, so I'm tempted to add the stiction eliminator next oil change. Think that's too soon? Oh by the way the leather seats sure look much better now I'm sure your Ruby big booty truck is happier. 😀
