Real shit. We had no KZread until 05' or high-end CGI physics like they have in NBA 2K now. All we had was VHS if we bought the shoes or caught it on reruns on ESPN or if they showed up in your city. I swear all these kids now can just load up their 2K character, even if they can't pay for a unlocked move and let it play on loop, go in their driveway and practice it. Nothing but love for these new hoopers but man 2000's was something else.

Stiff leg, the step backs, off the head off the knee shamgods of course etc and wet jumper to top it off. DC ninjas certified shooters look up the Kenner Leauge and Team Durant we produced a couple stars. Helped with Shareef Cooper class AOT AAU team as well. True story I met him on my 16th birthday at the University of Hartford 16 years ago. Growing up, I copied all his moves to a tee, and had my braids cornrolled like him back in the day. My friends from the neighborhood called me “little sauce or mild sauce”Right before he played the real game, myself other kids got to shake hands and guard him in a quick 21. I wish my mom took a picture. None the less, one of if not my favorite birthdays ever. He gave me dap and said “keep ballin yougin” Hot Sauce Aka Phillip Champion

watching ball in the 90's ,2000's and in the current era, street ball, organized or whatever, sauces fundamentals if you see the way he dribbles are still so superb, its what allowed him to venture off in a loose style that opened doors to off the wall style. guys like him, silk, jamal Crawford, kyrie, the pharmacist, etc. so many ballers with that handle have to have the fundamentals down In order to even explore other avenues of style ,props to the all mighty Sauce, glad the new gen can connect with the older generation to help develop more and more🦾

He’s so shifty with the ball 🏀 in his hands 🙌🏾 you never know what he’s gonna do. He’s a legend of street ball . Would’ve loved to seen him play in the league with Skip and the rest of the league
This is wholesome on so many levels, puts a smile on my face. I love seeing hot sauce cook in any age!
Professor’s father.💯
This shit warmed my heart.. It's crazy to see ur childhood icons old and still getn it in.. Sauce 40 and fat and still giving dudes the blues 🔥🔥🔥
At first, I was like, "he's slow now." And then realized later on that he was just warming up
We will never Forget... Hot Sauce. Ao. Half men half Amazing Escalade ... We started play cuz of you thanks for the passion you put in each move
This man was a big inspiration wen I was growing up a true legend and I miss and1💯💯🔥🔥🔥
His style would dominate in today’s league, crazy
Sizzle w/ the dad bod 🔥
THE greatest baller to ever handle the rock no one thought outside the box of handling the basketball until hot sauce came on the and1 scene. living legend 4 ever.
The word LEGEND often gets misused, overused, or just doesn't apply when talking about some folks. Not in this case. Sauce is a legend. I am so glad that I got to see him play in person back in the mid 2000s and he still cooking with The Sauce to this day.
Un animal Hot Sauce! El mejor streetball de la historia 🏀🙋♂️👏
Dude never gets old!
I grew up watching and 1. Still one of my favs of all time. Hot Sauce!🌶️🥫
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾sauce still got it. God is good 🙏🏾❤️🤞🏾
Sauce is a real 1. He always shows love to me everytime I see him. From when his son & nephew played at Sweetwater middle to hoopin on club dr park!!
Dang we old …them mixtapes was prophetic …maaan hate to see the legends not be completely legendary today
Definitely a streetball legend. Definitely one of the most influential basketball players across the hoods of America in the early 2000s🔥🔥🔥
Yessir hope they put him in the big3 or TBT tournament or have him and professor ball up all these youtube ballers 😏

Even at old school level now, this cat is a joy to watch. Man how time flies!
The Legend still in good health and out here cooking, that's a blessing!
Many people in that same gym don’t know what kind of legacy is playing among them on the hardwood. This man IS what streetball is.
Still the best to ever touch the rock. No one handled or thought outside the box until hot sauce came onto the street ball scene. Living legend.

I still got the first 3 And1 mixtapes on VHS.... true bball legend. Glad I got to see them on tour in Miami back in the day in like 05
Atl’s very own Hot sizzle was my favorite on the And 1 mix tour! It warmed my heart as an ATL hooper to see one of our guys tear it up on the tour!
Watching this makes me want to see more of his work back in the day!!
I love to see bro still doing his thing, i remember me my cousin and the homie went to the sand 1 mixtape tour at the target center in MINNEAPOLIS,MINNESOTA back in 2005 or something but it was litty 🔥🔥
Phillip champion! The sauce thank you big bro for the best memories!

Loved seeing this content I’m from the old school where we watched all the and 1 mixtapes on VHS 📼 tapes and bought all the merch when it hit the shelves..all of the great and 1 players helped us fall deep in love with the game of basketball 🏀 once again
Some of these shorties have NO IDEA of who they are guarding 😂. That man is a Legend
glad to see my boy still doing his thing and1 forever street ball he was one of my favorites because he stayed or was from Georgia im fom florida and have people in ga
Legend! Invented the swag for basketball. Streetball king! Hot Sizzle ooohh baby!!!
watching ball in the 90's ,2000's and in the current era, street ball, organized or whatever, sauces fundamentals if you see the way he dribbles are still so superb, its what allowed him to venture off in a loose style that opened doors to off the wall style. guys like him, silk, jamal Crawford, kyrie, the pharmacist, etc. so many ballers with that handle have to have the fundamentals down In order to even explore other avenues of style ,props to the all mighty Sauce, glad the new gen can connect with the older generation to help develop more and more🦾
On people not as skilled he was still humble.. went lightly, put more height in his bounce stood up straight.. then when he was a bit more serious lowered his body kept the ball close to the ground ... man what skill ... hours of practice..
THE GOAT OF HANDLES BIG FACTS 💯
He still eating off his gift, as he supposed to. Salute 🫡
AND 1 was the reason we hopped as kids in the early 00’s.. we would master the moves in the driveway and show out at the parks.. the days
He’s mastered the move like he’s about to pull for a j after the rockin hesi and then just blows right by you when you stretch up or jump. 🐐 ATLIEN
Hot Sauce is still one of the illist.
We need a Sauce v. Professor game.
