If the whole show was just slowed down and given a more relaxed tone, it would be so great!! Like the music just makes it feel as though it's constantly moving when I just want to hear the responses :/

Don't ever change mr. Roker. Been watching you since I was little with my mother and your weight loss back then has inspired me to lose weight myself recently since I rediscovered you on hot ones. Being a bartender nowadays and working late unfortunately makes me miss your morning show. Although, your hot ones episode is def part of my top 3. Hope to meet you sometime in this lifetime to shake your hand. Keep it up and def use less mayo next time.

Anyone else see 0:30 the eyebrow raise when Shawn realized this show is a copy of his own "Cold Cuts where we pile on the meat, cheese and questions"...."hot ones a show with hot wings and even hotter questions"

I don't know about 'rip off' really. There are a LOT of actual rip-off attempts where the whole point is the hot wings. There is room for more than one food-based interview channel, and both hosts are great so I'm just happy that the concept is a winner.

Not gonna lie, the interaction between these two is great. I'd love to see more Al Roker-Sean Evans stuff, as it's a really great "old media" and "new media" interaction thing.

I like that Al and Sean don't hate mayo like so many people aggressively do. 😂

Hating mayo on sandwiches is a thing? I would understand it with a hamburger or hot sandwich (even though depending the sandwich I would use mayo anyway) but I thought Mayo on a cold cut sandwich was pretty standard....it is here in the midwest at least. A stock sandwich from about anywhere even the national chains (Jimmy Johns/Subway etc...) have mayo

I get mayo on my burgers... bacon, lettuce, cheese, pickles, mayo... NO onions (love grilled onions, hate raw onions, I think the grilling breaks down the harsher oils)...

Not bad, need it to be like hot ones, make it more relaxed, no music just sound effects so it doesnt feel rushed. Its just episode 3 so there's room for improvement

The today show has been doing food demos on screen way before the internet started.

Sean seems like a real genuine down to earth guy

oh man these two are magical together

You know, these days a lot of the younger generations are favoring online media rather than traditional. Here we have a personality from the TV medium and one from the online medium that really mesh well together. What I'm trying to say, you could put these two in a show and hit a home run.

I get that. His personality is kind of like that, if that's what you're referring to, but he seems enthusiastic. If it's because he doesn't seem to like wings or thinks it's kind of a weird thing, there's more to that. He's said in other interviews they were basically trying a lot of things, so far as content, and this is what stuck. So, I think that's a kind of self-aware irony. I think he's nervous too. The thing is though, I kind of need that with Al Roker. I've enjoyed him from since I was pretty young, but it's like he does lines of coke between cuts. I think they kind of balance each other out.

Just a question this show is entertaining and all but................. If every episode they display an amount of food to make like 100 sandwiches and then eat two and throw away all the ingredients for the other 98 sandwiches like they can't preserve those ingredients for all the episodes this seems so incredibly wasteful their has to be another wau
