    These chieftaincy disputes belong to ancient times. If the dormaahene has issues with the Ashanti king and his kingdom and if it is true he is a judge, let him consult a lawyer to take up the matter in court and take those matters OUT OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND GIVE GHANAIANS SOME PEACE.

    During COVID-19 when Akufo-Addo ordered everyone to stay indoors We did including Otumfuo... 🤔Please know that politicians wants votes... We cannot move forward with primitive mindsets that's why we are regressive whiles the world is moving forward... 🤔Sorry but If our ancestors were transparent and told us the truth we would not have had these issues.... Besides what are we fighting against? poverty... Use 🧠👈 All the chiefs lost their powers during colonization. Even the lands belonged to the british prior to independence and to the government of Ghana at independence. The chiefs were made custodians of the lands after. The Ashanti kingdom's sovereignty ended with the capture of Agyeman Prempeh. A King can not be the subject of superior King 👑 hence they made them chiefs under the british and under the constitution of our lovely Ghana. 🇬🇭 My people all the ethnic groups and cultures in Ghana are richly beautiful... No one is superior... There's a reason why we are at the bottom of the social chain ⛓️ in every land as Africans 👈 Enough! Let's appreciate and grow together for dividend we all fall... Thank you!

    Lawyer Obiri Yeboah holds the responsibility of expanding and enriching the historical narrative in the Bono region. Presently, the region's history predominantly focuses on the Yaa Asantiwaa, Osei Tutu, Antim Gyakari and Okomfo Anokye. However, pivotal aspects such as the Amoawi Cave in Techiman and the establishment of Nkoranza, Techiman, Dorman, and Berekum remain largely unexplored. This creates an imbalanced portrayal of the region's past, which needs to be corrected for a more comprehensive understanding of our rich and diverse history of Bono.

  • @empiregroupchannel175

    @empiregroupchannel175

    Then talk about your region. For Asante, it would claim what belongs to him. You’re comparing Yaa Asantewaa to Amoawi cave?? It’s not logical. Bono is Asante. And would always be. Regions do not mean traditional settings have changed.

    Lawyer Obiri Boahen is an objective historian.The root of the current Dormaa-Ashanti "problem" is partisan politics. Kwame Nkrumah created the the Bono Ahafo region in 1959 in his bid to weaken Asante hegemony. Osagyefoo Agyeman Badu I was a staunch CPP member and his partisan record is there for those who care to read to do so.The same applies to Takyiman.The NDC is behind the present Dormaahene to try break the NPP's stronghold in Ashanti.But they must know they cannot.Ashanti has been UGCC,UP ,PP ,PFP and now NPP. There is absolutely nothing anybody can do to.change the trend.SAYONARA,BAM.

That is what that Dormaa village chief should understand? He knows this very well but because of inferiority complex he is always on social media, trying to cause division between Ashantis and Bono people. He thinks this will earn him the power he craves? Dormaahene is not Bono, he claims it for convenience and with agenda to rule, About half of the Chiefs in Bono Region are part of Asanteman council but for Regional administrative purposes are part of Bono Region House of Chiefs, there are chiefs in Ahafo, Bono East, Bono, Oti, Eastern region who are part of Asanteman council

    So who is really telling us the truth? Everyone seems to have a version of his history that suits his arguments so which version of history should students even learn? He who controls the source of the information you feed on has the potency of controlling your intellect. What the lawyer said doesn't make him wise. He is telling us what he seem to know but as to whether his version of history is the truth calls for another discussion. Administratively, Bono Region is not Ashanti Region. Historically, some sections of Bono were for Ashantis as claimed by some historians. What matters most is culture preservation not territorial ownership in modern day democracy. It doesn't work that way. Asantihene should concentrate on enhancing the lives of his people within Ashanti Region. That is more relevant than territorial ownership. If Berekum is for Ashanti, what benefit does it bring to the 10 year old boy who goes to school under a tree? That should be the issues Kings should discuss. But here we are fighting over territory while the same powers who are claiming ownership can't even use their power to stop these crirtical issues. You talk p3, they question you loosely "DO YOU PAY TAXES TO OUR KING". Really? With these kinds of logic, you can easily understand why some chiefs sold their people for slavery in return for schnapp.

    I don't support slavery but no one sold his own people for slavery. Empire are forged by war. The people the chiefs were selling were captives of war and it was done every where in the world during the Ancient days.
