It's the VXR for me.. looks way better. One of the appeal factors for me is you don't see many GTC VXR's on the road.. like the ST's, GTI's and R's which are so common place.. Down side.. dated dash with it's cluttered buttons.. even after 4yrs.. I still need to look closely at the dash so as not to push the wrong button when operating the radio or sat nav.. Pretty pokey in stock formation rhough..

The driver shows no emotion 😂😂

Now that is content! Keep these types of videos coming!!! 💪💪💪

Recently got an ‘18 plate VXR, taking it for a stage 1 tune at Rabbid soon

Vxr on the sound test I personally think I have had the pleasure of owning both these type of cars but to be honest I am a Vauxhall man personally but the focus st is by far a better everyday drivers car & handles better as the vxr is an absolute lunatic with way to much under steer unfortunately.

But the Focus has proven to understeer more, here and on other videos.

Need to get my vxr stage one done asap. Never liked the st. And most who own one just wish they had the rs. VxR all day . Massive love for videos like this.

I had my vxr stage1 and was great now it’s stage 2 and An Animal🔥🔥🔥🔥 so stage 3 here we come 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🦾🦾🦾

I need help I'm not understanding something, is the Astra GTC VXR the same as an Astra VXR?? If so is the only difference the fact that it's based on the Astra GTC which is a Coupe and not a Hatchback?? I told you I was lost....

current models are the same thing mate its just known as an astra vxr now but is based on the gtc shape :)

VXR for the true chavs. Lol

The Astra takes the win all day for me, but being the owner of a VXR I'm pretty sure the F40 gearbox was already at the limit of its torque rating at 400nm when it left the factory. Have you had any issues with stage 1 or 2 affecting gearbox reliability?

no issues yet buddy they seem to be handling extra torque very well :)

mine is at 510NM of torque on standard gearbox. They are much stronger than the M32 in the previous Astra

I think the OPC is much more Motor Sport then the ST.. You should compare it to RS.. 🙂

It's the Maxton Designs yes, cheap universal rubbish.

Although it is an astra J previous model it still looks nicer than the focus. The astra always retains a design that is to last for decades

Don’t suppose anyone knows what boost pressure I should be running on my gtc vxr standard? Online it says out of factory about 1.4bar?

Video sound is awful to much interference by the wind so kind of hard to make out what your saying but other than that both nice cars have a vxr had an st.

Focus much better car all rounder

Vxr all day everyday understeer yeah but better looking, far better interior (ford interiors are a letdown in general) and in the blue or red the vxr looks so nice😍also clever suspension with vxr mode, beautiful seats,

Vxr does look nicer and is faster from factory but the interior is dated clutterd with buttons on the dash no touchscreen no heated winscreen ,focus wins it for me more practical day to day

300bhp lol more like 270bhp my full stage 2 is only 292bhp

Just get a mk7 golf gti stage 1 around 320bhp
