I NEED a review about tropical floral scents!

I was using a fragrance swatch and sprayed Hundred silent ways by Nishane on one side (I already knew I didn’t love this perfume. I just can’t pull off deep woodsy scents and HSL pulls SUPER woodsy and earthy on me) I forgot I had sprayed that swatch and a few min later I sprayed it with La Capitale, which I also don’t LOVE on its own for some reason. But together?!? It is INCREDIBLE!! You’ve got the fruity light bright juicy notes with the vanilla and leather and woodsy notes. It’s a beautiful layering combo! I’d love so see you try it and let me know what you think 😊😊😊

Got a bottle of dolce melodia the other week. Its intoxicating. I love it. Its long lasting and smells unique to me. I get slightly powdered passion fruit with slight citrus and flowers. It's sweet but not too the point it gives you a headache or makes you nauseous. Lasts all day on my clothes. Thanks for the review ❤

Finally someone is talking about Ex Nihilo’s Explicite online! It’s been my favorite from the brand for three years and I’ve only heard it talked about once- well now twice. Leave it to Demi to be the one to talk about it. Demi has never lead me astray with her recommendations. Explicite is actually quite a chameleon on my skin. Sometimes the praline comes out more prominently, other times the florals dominate and sometimes it’s the nutmeg, pink pepper and vanilla that take center stage. It is a beautiful and sweet fragrance- definitely one of the sweetest perfumes in my collection and I love it for that too. It’s an uplifting, happy scent and also ultra feminine. Personally I couldn’t see a guy pulling it off.

Demi can you do a makeup tutorial on this look? It’s so beautiful and glowy!!

I’ve had Champaca on my wish list for a while. Think I need to pull the trigger but will wait for next summer as we are going into winter. Thanks for another great video and agree with a previous comment you look beautiful and healthy!

YOU are the reason I bought Carioca Heart. Omg...that creamy mango and pineapple and lots of booze. 😊 it shines in warm weather. Very addictive. So thank you for the recommendation ❤ I own Wavechild, too. It's not juvenile, but it is soo flirty. The watermelon is NOT like a Jolly Rancher candy, which can be sickeningly sweet. This is a natural sweetness ..it's gorgeous together with the coconut. Yummy!

I would LOVE a video on tropical florals! I really need some summer perfumes that are tropical, floral, fruity, etc. I realize I have either sparkling, effervescent perfumes or musky florals/fresh. Which I still love but I need some variety

There’s a heatwave here in Bombay, terribly hot and humid and my favourites in this weather are Fleur Narcotique, NR Forever Her, Lancome Idole and good old Cacherel Noa (I feel Noa is such an unsung hero, so clean, soft and beautiful).

Do you have recommendations for a sweet fragrance with a touch of a green note or tart note? (like Poets of Berlin with the bamboo or Delina with the rhubarb) Love your videos ❤

I bought Carioca Heart based off this video alone. WIN WIN WIN! Thank you! To me Carioca Heart is smooth and creamy and got me excited to add more mango scents to my collection. Contemplating Stephen Humbert Lucas Mango Kiss or God of Fire, which would you recommend that is different enough from Carioca Heart? P.S I found Vilhelm Mango Skin to be too basic, like straight up mango (it lacked the uniqueness I expect for that price point).

Hi Demi, about Champaca by Ormonde Jayne, they are now coming out with a new Parfum version along the line with 88ml only but more concentrated. I don’t know if you have tried it already and your thoughts about the new version as well? The local distributor told me that the old 120ml version won’t come back anymore 😢

I wore my Gucci bloom Ambrosia de Fiori out in the heat yesterday (the red bottle) and it was beautiful! My husband kept saying “Mama smells yum” 🤤 😂 Also, Stricnina works well in the hot heat, and PDM Safanad actually works as well!

Whats a good pineapple fragrance

At this moment - amongst all my niche and designers - my favorite Spring/Summer fragrance is Calypso Clementine EDP from B&BW. I top it off with a few spritz of Tangerine Boy but I actually like the smell of Calypso Clementine much better. CC has great sillage and last for hours on my skin, especially when I use it with the body cream (or lotion) and the fine fragrance mist. I’ve used it almost seven days straight - and you all know that’s not common, especially with the collection we have.

I am diggin coffee perfumes at the moment and would love to know about milky sweet coffee fragrances but not over sweet as I really hate the tiramisu style of coffee smell. I prefer a milky creamy coffee with a bit of vanilla.

I’m certainly not “it”or a “girl”, but I adore BoraBora and cannot wait for my full bottle to arrive! I thought Bianco Latte would be amazing based on notes, but on my body chemistry it smells like a cheap vanilla candle. I’m excited to try Holidays and Wavechild and I’m sure others that you have mentioned. I cannot wait to hear more of your favorite tropical scents! I like wearing tropical in the summer, but also in the depth of winter when I want to mentally escape. I’m a little surprised that you did not include Ormande Jayne Montabaco Flor, Rio or Cuba.
