Women AND men who use dating apps need to both experience what the other goes through, BUT also be taught what's going through each of their heads at the same time. A guy given a girls profile is still going to run it like a guy and thus just get disheartened. Put yourself in a women's shoes though: Instead of your problem being to little attention, suddenly your problem becomes "How do I know which of these guys are actually being authentic and are a good match if guys will say and do anything to try and get in my pants". They're limiting who they talk to and ignoring most matches because they're attempting to use only pictures and a profile to determine if someone is worth talking to. The drive for sex comes AFTER they're attracted to you, not before like with men. As a man: think of the amount of women in your time that you've given the time of day even though you would NEVER date them, just because you wanted to get some? Yeah.

I gotta say, being 5ft9 is a blessing in disguise. Nobody thinks you're "short" when they look at you, but it really helps to weed out the girls who only care about your height. So when a girl likes you, it's because she likes you.

If you're an average/below-average dude. Uninstall your dating apps. They do nothing but drain your wallet and time. For every 100 guys on there, there's like 25 women and they all go for the hot guys (top 10%). Focus on building yourself and meeting girls in real life. At least you'd have a chance of showing your personality before you get "left on read".
