It is so heart breaking seeing him cry like that. I know he wants to stay but his body says no. Get well soon Girin and once you are all healed up, please appear in the show once in a meanwhile. You don't have to worry about Running Man. We, as fans will still watch it as your wish. We love you and stay healthy.

Can we talk about how amazing the plot twist of Kwangsoo's last ep? He's so thoughtful and bought those expensive things for the members, he secrectly took equal photos with all members so that they can get their presents, he constantly asked about the rankings and he makes sure that the members are always included in his choices... This man is amazing in all aspects! May all the people he love continue on supporting him as much as we do. Thank you Lee Kwang Soo! ❤😭

I grew up watching running man through the time, people come and go in my life but by watching running man and because of kwang soo too i can ease the pain even for awhile. Will definitely missed kwang soo ❤️

After that article about kwang soo will leave running man out and make me feel so sad. man when they said that i couldnt hold it in anymore...every emotion that kwang soo and running man let me forget about just for a moment all caught up to me and i bawled my fucking eyes out. the connection we have with this show and this family is incomparable to any other thing in this world, its crazy to think about.

He’s actually the only member of Running man that left a huge imprint in everyone’s heart. He brought pure joy & laughter through many rainy nights of running man. Thank you Lee Kwang Soo A.K.A our Asian Prince for spreading your light of pure happiness to us worldwide. 0:26 when I was watching this episode I keep repeating this part because of Seok Jin who barely shows affections towards member and we're known for always having his own world. There I saw Seok Sam truly showing his sincere emotions and were trying to hold the tear cause the rest of the hyungs are not crying or trying not to cry.

I think the saddest part about Kwang Soo's departure is the fact that he doesn't really want to leave, but he has to for his own good and health. Gary's departure was more on his own choice, but Kwang Soo had no choice but to leave.

He had another reason too leave which is because running man rating went down due to the fact they didn't do much running activities etc. They keep doing quizzes for kwang soo sake. That's why kwang soo felt bad and decided this decision early before the show dies.

Sechan & Jihyo can't even say anything and trying to hold their tears till the end, which made me cry.. this episode is very well done from start till the end and I'll cherish it till I'm old like Suk Jin.. ty for 11 years of all the emotions and I'll keep supporting for another 11 years with or without the original cast members, cause Running Man is one of my happiness

0:26 JSJ's reaction here is so genuine. He's really surprised and touched to know that the gifts they all thought is for Kwangsoo, was for them all along. Jsj's is known and is always teased for being "uninterested unless there's cameras rolling", while that could be true, you know deep inside, he cares for his dongsaengs. He loves them and has a deep connection with them(especially with lks), his reaction honestly made me cry because it's very genuine and sincere.

he really cares the most with kwangsoo because I remember he almost left the show but he said in an interview that he decided not to because of "feel touch cross" duo. And now the duo is never gonna happen again, I feel sadddd and down

This hits really hard. I am 33 now and I spent my 20s watching Running Man, since the first episode. I basically grow up with this show. Back then during college, it was hard to watch Running Man. We need to patiently waiting for the subs, find a decent internet connection (which is hard in my country) or, in my terms, need to find the 'dealer' who can share the downloaded episodes in the HD. Watching Running Man makes me realize that we have the same sense of humour, that funny is the same everywhere despite the language or culture. I know that one day this show will reach its end and until that day come, I sincerely thank all of you, cast, crew, and guests, for the laughter and happiness. Until that day comes, let's keep running together :'

Honestly, I know many Korean and international fans left the show after a while...after Gary left or because the show was getting repetitive and boring. HOWEVER, Lee Kwang Soo was one of the big reasons why I stayed on to watch every single Sunday. Yes some episodes were very plain and kinda boring but I have no regrets spending my Sunday nights watching this amazing variety show that has gained millions of fans and love around the world, even in USA, Europe and S.America. Lee Kwang Soo earned the status "Prince of Asia" and it will remain this way. He made Korea proud and the rest of his international fans proud. Hope to see him marry Sun Bin one day and for him to feature in more films and dramas...he's still young and has a bright future ahead of him. 👍👍

Seeing JiHyo can't even say a word really hits me...😭 I wonder how would RM do now that Kwang Soo is not there... He's RM's face for me... 😔

Suk Jin nearly lost it when the PD announced the gifts was actually for them, from Kwang Soo. Jae Suk became less talkative and tried to crack jokes everytime he feel like he gonna lost it, Jong Kook blinking his eyes rapidly, looking down most of the times, Haha that was clearly seen holding up tears. The Hyungs, the loved Kwangsoo to their death, but as Yoo Jae Suk said, life isnt always as planned. You did so great Lee Kwang Soo, what a performance, what an impact. It was NEVER boring.

Even his last time shooting with his members, he still care about them a lots. He even prepareeach gift for them . His kindness and his love for Runningman has no limits. One for sure everybody shocks and cannot hold tears when heard LKS bought the farewell present and realize that this is really goodbye time from LKS, even though YJS manages to hold his tears, but look closely to his eyes, red and had a puffy eye bags like tried to hold it as long as possible. The sad episode hopes someday the member of Runningman can stop by again at LKS house secretly and bring him present.

I think this is where Jihyo cried the most. You can tell she's really touched by Kwangsoo's love for each of them.

People needs to know that though the show is scripted to make it funny but behind the cameras, their bonds are really strong and genuine even the producers & crews in RM too. I love that how they film this episode and it's not emotionally scripted meaning they wrote it with sincerity. I was so close to break in tears. Whatever it is, stay healthy Kwang Soo. As a man who love to watched Running man from 1st episode. LKS is a legend and always be our eternal hyung, who always make us smile since 10 years ago, start from my college time until now. I will always be LKS fans, not as actor or RM member, but as a human being who inspired us.

I know that among the members YJS is the highest paid member and he offer to reimburse the amount LKS paid for the gifts even though the amount spent by LKS barely scratch Kwangsoo's net worth. YJS is really generous towards his friends and co-workers(including staffs of his shows), he just can't sit still knowingly that someone spends for him. I'm really gonna miss Kwangsoo, for his last episode to be streamed on June 13, same date as my birthday is so heartbreaking. I barely celebrated my birthday yesterday.

I was watch running man from 2010 and after this years running man always my happy place kwang soo left hit so many fans, and the pain is still there and now i watch running man from episode 1 again

My heart is touched when I see him crying. In the midst of sadness, he still thinking about the members. It is difficult for him to leave the show, but his condition not allowed him to do so. It's literally heartbreaking to see Sechan, who is really one of the loudest and funniest people ever to be this silent. I've never seen him is such despair and in pain before, it's like he doesn't know what to do after his closest brother and friend leaves.

I started watching Running Man years ago, figuring out how much I loved it I restarted right from the very start. I fell in love with Kwangsoo from the get go. I found out he was in one of this show before and he was hilarious then too, so it probably started then. I grew up with everyone on this show, from Jongki leaving to Gary. I cried alot watching this episode and to think he missed out on the episode of his lookalike the volleyball coach lol. Kwangsoo has the same birthday as me as well. He will always be missed and I will continue to support him as he goes on to other shows and dramas/movies.

he was quite literally their naughty but clearly good hearted little brother and was definitely the spirit of running man jihyo clearly not able to hold it in, its not that it wouldn't be sad if the newer members left, but seeing the original members leave it be hard not to cry if youve worked together for over 10 years just like when gary left jong kook and kwang soo are all damn close outside of running man, when he said moral support it really seems like he said from videos outside of running man

Lee Kwang Soo was the life of the party in Running Man. He will always be missed, as he was a vital part of this show. I can feel his pain because ryt now the people I've spent 10 years with, my friends, might be going on seperate ways, so I understand what's it like to part with ppl. Seeing se chan breaks my heart even more. He’s usually one of the most talkative out of the bunch, but he couldn’t say anything for the last 20 mins of the episode.

Watching this episode really hits differently, seeing the LKS and members crying is really hard for me to not to cry. After watching this ep, while scrolling the comments, damn... i can see that Running man really gave us such a huge impact in our lives. I'm really thankful tht this show really brought laughter to my family. Started watching when i was 8( eventho i do not understand much at that time, i really enjoy watching them playing games together) now im 19... this really is my childhood show, thank you so much for bringing the joy and happines throughout the 11 years!

I watched Running Man since i was still in elementary school. Now im 21 and felt heartbroke bcs of this but this reminds me to take care of our health first. Thank you, Kwangsoo-ya. For fulfilling my childhood memory with other members too. You can stop running now, but you always can walk with them.

I really cried my heart out when the pd announced that he bought all the gifts plus the sudden bgm. I didn't know i can cry much more after hearing their letters. I think what hurts the most about Kwang Soo leaving is that you can sincerely tell he didn't want to leave yet. He'd keep running forever if he wanted to, but his body just didn't allow him to. Unlike all the previous members who left to pursue their own passions and careers, Kwang Soo still wanted to stay with all of them, but like Jae Suk put it, life doesn't always go as planned and he was forced to step down as his injury kept him from being able to commit to the show worry-free. Thank you for all the years of laughter Kwang Soo, it just won't be the same without you. I'll definitely watch everything you come out in!

he is really my childhood memories. Running man is one of the first variety show that I watched. From the first episode where many people don't even knows the cast and the rating drops but now it's still ongoing and my favourite ❤️❤️❤️

I really believe that the most heartbroken here is Kwangsoo. As he said he really loved running man as it served as his healing. When he was supposed to rest longer because of his injury, he didn't, but still came back to RM as early as he could. It is a testament of his love for the show. But also the cause of him leaving. He is a very decent man but in running man he can be crazy all he wants. On top of that he has "license" to do that. When asked what he will do now every monday, he was very sad and choking. I will truly miss Kwangsoo. He can never be replaced. He will truly be missed in running man. I watched running man religiously every monday, and I will still do that in the future. I got through my lowest moments with running man. I believe in the members and the crew. Fighting!!!

Kudos to Kwangsoo and the staff. I didn't even notice that there was another hidden mission which was the meaning behind the gifts. Speechless of it, we'll definitely miss our Betrayer Giraffe. Until we run again, Lee Kwangsoo ♥

When gary left, the members are the one who give him gifts. But when kwangsoo left, he is the one who give the members gifts. This show to us how kwangsoo nature truly is. He is so considerate and warm hearted to the members. The side that he rarely shows on the show 😭😭

After gary left..he cut off his relation with rm family....in the one episode...the rm member once said when gary married they all never got invitation from gary...gary even change his number and non of the member know his number..hope kwangsoo will never like gary that throw away his family n fren...

@@youcantmakemetosuscribe4745 maybe he are not very comfortable with the running man members. We just see what being shown to us in the series/ep, but the real life is so much different. Others running man members maybe think that they already like a family, but only Gary felt otherwise. We doesn't know people heart rigth. Just my opinion, I like he but not that much as other, the way he contributed to the running man is good. But if he do not feel comfortable, what we can say. But for me, day of Se chan n Somin come to running man really feel that the episode is calm and funny again to me. I really appreciate Se Chan n Somin. They are so gold, good, nice. And now, we see that their senior in the teams of younger already left make me soo breaking apart when Se Chan tears is come and Somin hug him. They need support from their leader(Kwang Soo). I still remember when Kwang Soo cannot attend running man, the two of them really work hard to make the episode does not falling down. I love all of them.

It's the fact that Kwangsoo helped her noona JIhyo stay in Running Man but we didn't expect that he will leave the show before her. it's making me grief, to be honest.

Jee Seok Jin - standard of old man when try to endure the sadness but will cry when he alone Yoo Jae Suk - stay calm because he was the leader, if all of the members cry together, they need someone who will calming them, thats Jae Suk Kim Jong Kook - maintain the normal face but his heart pain so much. He was the one that holding pain so much, someday, he will burst all of it Haha - blank, doesn't show up his sad much but he knows, he will cry loudly if once he's crying Song Ji Hyo - trying to hold up from beginning of the shooting, she knows she need to endure it, she doesn't want to show that she weak because she not professional if she cry earlier. She have a soft heart. She try to hold it until saw se chan crying, she cannot hold anymore Yang Se Chan - he was the one that endure really hard. he rarely being sad at something but when it really effected him so much, he cannot hold anymore. It tough for him. he has a soft heart of man. he really respect kwang soo hyung so much. actually I am crying so much after he cried. he really love them so much. he's kind and sweet man Jeon Somin - she quiet in this episode, she try to not express her feeling about this episode. she also has a soft heart. she cannot see someone crying, she will cry too. notice in this episode, she always sit far from kwang soo to hold her tears only 5 minutes start in this episode, I am crying so much 😭😭😭

Lee Kwangsoo, who is stingy with money, always buys big, expensive presents for people he cares about. When Gary left, I remember he also bought the largest present with an expensive sound bar that Gary wanted. Even the champagne he bought Somin is a Dom Perignon. Lee Kwangsoo is thoughtful and spares no expense for people. He always gives 200%. We are lucky to have had 11 years with him every week.

It took me one whole week to finish this farewell episode because of too much crying 😭😭😭 Thank you for being part of the past decade of my life, Kwangsoo Oppa. In times when I am stressed, without a doubt, Running Man is my go to show. I hope you heal perfectly and come back if the chance would still be there. While waiting for your comeback, we will support whatever you will do ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Lee Kwang Soo for all the years of laughter and joy. I am glad to have discovered running man that brought me into the k-show/drama/movie and pop scene. I am truly happy that I can finally see how wonderful of a person you are during this final episode, and how much you mean to the members and staff. The hyungs did their best to send you off with a smile, because they didnt want you feeling sad about leaving, and also preventing others from crying as well. The members all shared their final moments with Kwang Soo on set. Sukjin - feel touch cross, and just smiling every time he sees Kwangsoo Jaesuk- always teasing him and trying to lighten the mood Jongkook - vocally voicing his moral support, and had his arm around kwangsoo Haha - teasing kwangsoo and voicing his moral support Jihyo - crying and was in distraught, as she is known to cry Somin - crying and talked about not having to worry for the show Sechan - crying as kwang soo was his support I strongly believe that Kwang Soo was the glue to running man. He had formed a great relationship with everyone on set, that no matter what the location or scene was if kwang soo was there, it would already be fun and entertaining itself no matter who paired up with him. Even the PD was crying in the early scenes of the episode. Sukjin was about to leave the show, but thanks to the character development with kwang soo with the feel, touch, cross he decided to stay. He almost broke down upon hearing that the presents were actually from Kwang Soo himself, but composed himself again.Jaesuk even tried to lighten the mood, while scanning the room as he did not want Kwang Soo to feel even more sad. When he said "It wasn't boring because of you" was not only implied on Running man but also his life. It hit me extra hard. Jongkook, the one that is always nagging, did not nag at all this episode, as you can feel how sad he really is without even saying. He was acting as the emotional pillar of support this episode, with his arm around him. Haha, normally would just keep feeding others for funny content while being respectful was a spectator today, and kept trying to enjoy every last moment while watching Kwang Soo. He was seen repeatedly looking up with tears in his eyes but he tried his best to hold back. Jihyo did extremely well today, as we all know she cries a lot. She did her best to send Kwang Soo off, as he was also the reason for her staying on the show. He held onto her when she didnt feel like she fit in with all the guys when she was the only female cast on the show. Kwang soo helped build Somin's character as the female counterpart/ love interest when guests came on the show. Also the crazy/ fun part. And sechan, with countless moments of the two. Kwang Soo had helped him build his character as another love interest when guest arrive. But the shy kind and not knowing what to do gave many laughs. Finally Kwang Soo, I know how nice of a person he is, but today on set he finally showed his true self. Where he picked all the food/ locations of where all the members had the best times and not himself. He bought presents and actively tried to get the same number of pictures because he wanted the presents to be delivered on the show, and he knows it would be hard to do in person as they might not accept it. He was trying to hold in his tears the entire episode, and smiled to try and hide it. You can feel the warmth he gives to the members and cast. Although I am sad about his departure. I am glad to have found him and the Running man show. Have you guys noticed, in all of their letters it was "You can do whatever you want now without penalties now" .But as for his reasoning (injury), and the recent post of the Korean entertainment hierarchy, I would be utterly disgusted if the real reason was because of that. Because he is portrayed a certain way on the shows, therefore whenever he gets cast in drama or movies his character remains the same, so once he leaves the show he can obtain a new image. And that may be the reason he is so sorry to the running man crew. So in their letters they all said now you can do whatever you dream of. As a way to let him know, dont worry about us and go achieve what you wanted to achieve as an actor. And come visit us "i.e when you promote these dramas/movies" Thank you Kwang Soo, for brightening up my childhood with great laughs.

I love this guy bcoz he makes me laugh a lot, when something's upset me and my heart is broken just watching him I regain some strength

This episode is so hard and painful and jae seok still managed to joke and looking at their eyes is full of deep sadness. All of their messages are all hearfelt and sincere, whether it shorts or long. My messages to kwangsoo is to keep running to your life while looking both sides, front and back because it will make you keep going to what path god had been given you and still giving you! Saranghe oppa.

The moment when they said it was kwangsoo who bought presents for members they were really surprised. Also how he picked the gifts perfectly to each member says a lot about their closeness and bonding. He feels it will be cringe to give directly to members and asked pd for help. I'm glad pd said it was lks who bought presents at the end. Also the presents given by staff and crew to Lks are also very memorable... Stay happy and healthy kwangsooyaa:)

"To some people kwangsoo is their childhood memories and the pillar of hope that got them through hard times" this quote hits me hard because I've been watching runningman with my older sister since I was 7 years old 😭😭😭 this is the only thing that strengthen our bond as sister. We usually fight each other 24/7 but runningman made my childhood amd my family bond getting better..

The way Kwang Soo considered and cherish his members is always heart warming even though he's the one who need to step down and need to accept their farewell gift he give some effort to thank them for their love and care for him even though he felt sorry for his desicion we know that all the member will always be proud for Kwang Soo..

Time doesn't always define a relationship but you can expect that it will strengthen the bonds a person have with others. This proves it. They all started as strangers and I'm sure it wasn't easy in the beginning, especially for Lee Kwang Soo who "chose" the role of being the "betrayer" just so the viewers can have entertainment, but look at them now, they are each others' family outside their family. It's sad to see him leave but I'm sure it's even harder for him not being able to do his best for the show and the members. Just like a wise man once said "PART OF THE JOURNEY IS THE END"
