I just realized how passionate South Koreans are in Football, lol. They even allotted a whole segment just to watch the World Cup. The staff are celebrating too, from producers to cameramen. @15:53 you could see literally ALL staff celebrated and cheered, it ain't even acting, it's genuine joy from them.

I think this is true for any football countries and World Cup comes with another level of hype. Imagine Japan's win, too. Meanwhile in the Philippines, only Pacquiao comes close in terms of getting most of the population to watch a sporting event. I miss those days, it's the most peaceful Sundays of my life. Lol

It’s just that they are not that developed in soccer, and they knew that facing against Brasil would completely rip them. Also Japan was just Bad at Penalty Kicks. By far S.K has only Son, and Japan was good overall except for the penalty Kicks.

@@sheeshstick3614 Everyone knows how good Brasil is. Especially facing them early on is a bad sign cuz Brasil always make it to the semi/quarter final . And let me tell you more than half of the countries try to go Brasil out off their way. Some even lose matches at the early stage to throw certain countries out. Example Germany and Spain. Spain lost against Japan to throw Germany out. They knew they had a very good goals counter( 7 : 0 against Costa Rica) and a good win/lose streak.

Japan could have made it through penalties but Croatian keeper saved them... it was an impossible mission for South Korea to beat Brazil.. even the players sitting on the bench could have beaten them... that's how good they are right now
