Juiced 2 for PS2 was my very first Video game. It's so nice that things like these don't just get forgotten.

the drift races in this game were some of most fun ive played (really loved the game in general too tho)

This game is so good. I can't wait until someone makes something like that again but modern graphics and stuff.

Actually, that car and bodykit (Veilside NSX) has appeared in Tokyo Drift, its the yellow one you occasionally see in Han's garage. At the time, Veilside has similar designs for their widebody RX-7 and NSX. Edit: On top of that, this game has the Veilside kit for the RX-7 so you can actually faithfully reproduce Han's RX-7, which you definitely cannot say for the other games.

For all the issues Kuru had with drifting I should point out. There's an Achievement for getting 10,000,000 points in a single drift.

One thing I remember about PS2 version of this game is that it had some of the cars available through pink slip but not through buying. This was how I got an earlier generation of Audi TT.

In the PSP version there is a bug/glitch, where the Acura RZ Is actually RWD

In case you don't know, there are some cut contents within the game. I used to play around with this game's 3D models in ZModeler, and I found a full MUGEN body kit and a set of SPOON body kit along with C-West hardtop, all for S2000. Yes, they put that C-West roof part in one of the circuits' thumbnails but didn't include it in the game. Above reason, plus the incomplete graphics is why I hate Juiced 2. (Actually there are quite a few cars that have minor UV mapping issues.)

0:59 i personally agree with that, i cant even drive the viper right. Well technically i didnt play the original juiced but i played the psp version juiced eliminator which is almost the same thing. Juiced 2 on the other hand doesnt have the same issues as the first imo

It's more than insane top speed in juiced 2 from the basicly NFS series any another cars.

Fun fact about the M3 GTR in the game The engine model was the actual P60B40 V8 engine

I also don't understand the hate this game gets. Sure, you can argue its easier and the handling is different but it has plenty to offer from the cars to the tracks as well as the customization. And for the record, I love both Juiced games for what they are.

I prefer the first one tbh, it feels harder than Juiced 2, I mean i play it with wheel drive with control the handling in RWD on Juiced 1 is hard as fuck.

Regarding handling, I found that high end handling upgrades turn the cars into carts which grip way too hard, so I just stopped upgrading the handling

Loved this game back in the day the driving was kinda trash but the customization and ability to pink slip your car against another user was sick. Drift events were cool too

Did you get a hard copy of this or did you manage to find it online? Have tried to contact the Holding company to ask them to re-release it on steam but no reply xD

I have a love/hate relationship with this game's car list. Like it has well-known and underrated JDM cars, it also has muscle cars, and then there's Koenigsegg, Pagani, Ascari, A GODDAMN M3 GTR. Like, if you're gonna add supercars, add em all. There's no Lambo, no Bugatti, no Mclaren, there's a Viper and a Corvette but no Ford GT. I guess the budget was not enough to licence a lot of supercars, but it's a pretty fun game nonetheless

I remember getting 75,000,000 drift points in a single drift with the supra. It took about 30 minutes to pull off. Then I got rid of that account for my Xbox Live Account (I didn't have internet at all at the time.). Rip. But I will try to beat that score one of these days.

Another dark fun game that not many people know about is Test Drive: Eve of Destruction. It's a derby game with funky physics and a TON of minigames and shit. It's pretty much the Ps2 equivalent of Wreckfest. lol

I'm pretty sure THQ Nordic owns the Juiced IP now. We should spam them with requests to bring Juiced back. If not with a new game, but at least put it back on Steam(Juiced 2 was actually on Steam for a time).

Can we have a remaster on this? This game is soo goddamn good, the enjoyment is on par with UG2. Oh, do SRS next lol No don't, do the PS2/PSP Tokyo Drift

Juiced is a nice game, but the second one was always more enjoyable to me. Racing rwd cars in the first game was just frustrating. It's a shame some of those shitty beginner cars didn't make it to the sequel. Driving riced out Corolla or first gen Neon was fun experience
