The difference in UI/UX between ETH and SOL is astronomical. The average person, like myself, is so much more likely to use Solana for many many reasons. Gas fees not being a minor aspect of that

Gas fees on L2 are very low, often lower than Solanas. Ethereum L2 UX is pretty nice imo.

​@@SurfingIsfun-ol5bk I do not know, but I have also heard that L2 fees CAN be lower than SOL fees. I guess this is being measured in fiat currency. The price of one unit of SOL is going up and may exceed one unit of an L2 coin. So if the same number of units are used for fees, the lower price token will have lower fees.

$NEAR is the best risk reward for this cycle. Already has shown its growth, relevance, and potential. Still safe 5x low side with potential for much more.

i think people copy trade wallet addresses. like search for profitable address and use bots to copy their moves. the profitable trader doesn't have control over this cause their moves are on the blockchain. unless the trader switches wallet address with each trade which may a hassel.

Around 40% of the GBTC which was in place before BTC-ETFs , will remain with GBTC even though the fees are high. This is because the capital gain tax incurred upon cashout from GBTC would cause a greater loss than just paying a high fee each year.

DePIN projects that are selling hardware like DIMO and Hivemapper, are good bets. Less speculative in the long run. Also the infrastructure these projects rely on, like Streamr (DATA).

I've had many coins that I wouldn't transfer off of the exchange simply because of the gas fees.They're outrageous. I'm taking the risk of leaving them on exchange and then convert themto USDC at the end of the bull cycle and then transferring them on a different network

If you’re buying a popular meme with volume in the millions, you have to increase your slippage tolerance due to many buyers raising and lowering the prices in seconds. Remember millions could be be buying in at the same price that you are and price adjusts if someone makes a big buy or sell as your bid is entered. It’s not a sol issue, it’s the market price change.

Look at where they stand now compared with others. They remain a long way off their previous all time high during a time when others have grown significantly in the same period.

ETH and SOL will both be highly competitive going forward. Do I think ETH will solve their issues? Yes. Does SOL as well? Yes. However I think ETH will take longer to resolve their biggest issue: Network fees. Due to this it gives competitors time to catch up quite quickly as tech improves in rapid pace

The SBF-ghost will be a part of CB content for the next 25 years, right? Would anyway appreciate these Q&A during this time🤣

The Nakamoto coefficient is an extremely bad measurement of decentralisation. For example Solana is essentially controlled by two entities. The Solana Foundation and Alameda. They just delegate the stake out to make Solana have a high coefficient. Plus, the coefficient doesn't consider that Lido is actually about 35 different entities and not one.

i totally hated using ethereum in 2021... and i tried using ethe again in 2024 pre dencun.. even though i rarely move my crypto to a different wallet, moving ethe to different a wallet, i usually test send small amount of eth first and even if i send 5k, im sending multiple because if i make a mistake i lose everything... so im doing like 3-4 transfers... ethereum is just bad for poor people... ethereum will always have a place for really rich people...

The second validator client (Firedancer) will create redundancy, so it should solve 90% of it.

98% of Crypto usage in ASIA, AFRICA, Latin America is stablecoins for payments and savings in dollars & BTC, ETH for investments. All others are a sidenote

Sol will absolutely destroy ETH, Everyone is sick of the GAS fees, The world revolves around money & ETH is to expensive end of story. The future will show

I think Ethereums moat is a lot larger than Solanas or any other L1 because of it's decentralisation. Tech will develop over time so Sols speed with not be a USP in the future. Dapp UXs is also something that other chains can easily adapt over time.

Solana still at the beginning of innovation and development. They are battle tested every day. Solana is way better than ethereum. ETH is a old technology now

ETH is way more centralized than sol because they require centralized layer 1s to scale. Base literally can delist any token and it’s also owned by coinbase( a centralized exchange). Also, Let’s see if they mention base slow transaction and fee increase issues or ETH not making blocks last week due to blob problems. Bet they don’t

The Solana Foundation and Alameda control Solana and can do whatever they want. The difference between Solana and L2 Ethereum is that L2 Ethereum doesn't pretend to be decentralised and actually many different teams are working towards decentralization on it.
