Drop Stitch is becoming increasingly popular with applications such as inflatables, gym mats and more. It’s a coated nylon joined by thousands of vertical fibers that are uniform in size. When welded into desired shape and pressurized with air, it is transformed into a strong, hard surface. Now, drop stitch can be welded on a Miller Weldmaster T300 Extreme!

Features and Benefits:
1. Align top of the fabric to the bottom to eliminate any skew in the product.
2. Rounded corners are more weld friendly than 90˚ corners.
3. The Ultrasonic Cutter to cut the Dropstitch is useful for perfectly sealed edges.
4. The Ultrasonic Cutter will cut and temporarily tack the top and bottom panels together to prevent movement during assembly.
5. Using the tension roller to weld sidewall fabric will help reduce material handling.
6. To eliminate wrinkles the ratio of the top and bottom weld rollers will need to be adjusted.

Is Dropstitch a double layer thermoplastic fabric that has stitching to keep both layers bond together while still creating a void for the air to fill? I'm interested in getting into the inflatables business and curious as to learning more. I think I would buy one of these machines at some point.
