This adventure takes approximately 5 hours and includes an early morning pick up from your hotel, a guided drive to the launch site in Pilanesberg National Park, then drift serenely for 1 hour over the park. You’ll be collected, bleary eyed, from Sun City and whisked off in the dark to the launch site where you’ll be able to watch, while sipping coffee, the balloon inflating procedure. This is almost as exciting as the flight itself. Then, as the first shadows emerge from the darkness, you’ll be helped into the basket by the ground crew and begin to rise into the silky morning air in time to watch the spectacular sunrise. This is a game drive beyond your imagination and for nature lovers it is a serene and exhilarating experience that will surpass any previous activities in the wilds.
On landing a sparkling wine celebration is served, which is followed by a game drive to a private lodge for a full English breakfast. During breakfast a first flight certificate will be presented to you for this memorable experience.
