What a great idea! Ruth is the ultimate hostess. Nothing looks overdone, but warm and naturally beautiful by her hand.

This was probably the most inspirational episode of Homeworthy that I’ve watched. What a warm, loving person Ruth is. Ruth, thank you for sharing yourself and your belief about home and entertaining with us!

This episode was so fantastic. Ruth and Bob would make dream friends and neighbors. I loved how this entire video was filmed. I felt like I was part of the get together. Everything looked delicious, I learned so much about how to lay out a charcuterie board, and the barn is awesome. I was watching the end and Ruth and Bob said how much all these people meant to them, and then they prayed and thanked our Heavenly Father. I was very touched, and at that point realized why there is so much calm and peace and that’s because there is so much caring and gratitude for others, and that God is present.

Never mind her home, I want her to be my new best friend. To have a film crew with her four hours before having twenty is beyond stressful in my mind. If I had that barn I’d be entertaining all the time. Love everything. Do I sound like a fan girl, yes I totally am.

I was so thrilled to see another episode of Ruth and her beautiful home. Seeing her and Bob prepare and host this fall gathering was so heartwarming. I enjoyed it so much!

Ruth is my absolute favorite. Love her home, her spirit, and her authenticity. And love that she and her husband prayed with their guests.

This is beautiful especially with everything going on in America families don’t have homes to go too for the holidays everything goin on this country watching this just give you hope for better days 🙏🏿 she had a dinner party for 21 I was there, but through my IPad and homeworthy 🤣💚🤣

Ruth is so inspiring. I can take her style and philosophy and apply it to my own home making and hosting on my much smaller scale. I enjoyed her and this peek into her life immensely. I noticed how well loved her pans and oven are and I’m here for it. Thank you, Ruth and family, for sharing this slice of your life with us. ❤

Absolutely love Ruth and Bob and their hospitality that happens in their stunning stylish and yet cozy and lovely home. Magnolia Network needs to scoop them up for a show..Their property is breath taking and the food she lovingly makes is the cherry on top. I have her cookbook and it is amazing.....especially those Chocolate Chip cookies ....YUM!!! Now I need to try the cornbread......wow...what a treat!! Thanks for sharing your home and family Ruth and Bob and big kudos to Homeworthy for filming this gem of a house and family.

Ruth’s episodes are my go to favorites on Homeworthy. She is so down to earth, and makes homemaking inspirational. She and her family are indeed blessed to be blessing to others!

Ruth & Bob are gracious people! They take that quality into every aspect of their lives! They are such a compatible couple, we can see why they have built such a beautiful relationship & life together, & with their kids!! Great people make great episodes!!

Ruth, you have given me a new look when it comes to having family and friends in my home. It does not have to be perfect. It’s about the people and the love they feel in my home. You are a beautiful person. I love your home. You take the stress out of getting people together. Just show them love,it’s that simple.

This was as enjoyable as their first appearance. Very pleasant family. Bob’s words were simple but eloquent. He made me think.

What a great family! They all just seem like a warm hug!

I loved this episode! Ruth is an amazing host. She was so right about a party being about the guests and making them feel special and thought of. Pulling in the same direction only works if a couple is well yoked. Ruth and Bob are well yoked and it shows. I got tickled when she yelled his name during the stress time. Been there myself. I would love to see more from Ruth.

Ruth's home episode made me smile, shed a tear or two and sigh contentedly from start to finish. I'm so glad we got to meet Bob this time, whom she spoke about so enthusiasticly about. They truly are blessed, and have worked so hard throughout their marriage to achieve their dream home. The lady who spoke near the end who said "you are fed in all areas of your life" when visiting them, really summed Ruth & Bob to me. Really good people. More episodes please, Ruth's recipes would be great, telling us more stories of their lives.

Being a calm, unflappable hostess is a skill I only dream of attaining. I stress when I am having 4 women in the garden for lunch. Moist and sweet cornbread... yes, please! Not being afraid to entertain and bless people in your home... that's the ultimate gift to put out in the world!!!! I do feel that gorgeous barn, and your incredible cooking, did have something to do with them feeling it was the best dinner party ever. Your surroundings and ambience is everything to me. Where I am, is as important as who I am with , and what we are eating. I am sure , anyone lucky enough to be at your table has an unforgettable experience because of your vision. Everyone should be blessed with a Bob of their very own! What a treasure.. making that English garden with the stone wall and fireplace is every girls dream come true!!!! Is the candle lighter also the grill master? When you mentioned all the meats cooking, my mouth was watering. Now I am off to purchase your book and a few of the sherpa bench throws.

I enjoyed every minute of this episode. As we head into Thanksgiving, where we will host family (14), I am inspired to follow Ruth's tips in making a warm and inviting home. I've seen Homeworthy's previous visit to Ruth and Bob's home, and this was the icing on the cake (or should i say the ice cream on the apple crumble). Thank you Ruth, Bob, and Homeworthy for this delightful episode. Have a happy holiday season!

Ruth is such a precious soul and her home is breathtaking ❤ But I must say as a southerner, I had to clutch my pearls when she made her cornbread😂. I am absolutely certain it is wonderfully delicious but down here cornbread involves iron skillets, buttermilk and many say absolutely no sugar. I disagree though, I like a pinch in mine❤

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Huge thank you to Ruth and Bob for inviting us into your home at a time when you probably didn't need an intrusion, but you handled it with such grace. Hello Ruth, I have just came across you and found your love of food and family, an old tradition that we have all grown up with. You bring those memories back and time spent together is so important, especially today with our lives being so busy, its important to make time. I am enjoying your stories, sharing your recipes, table setting ideas, love of your garden being very casual about the whole event, you come across as a special person, I'm pleased I have found someone who is down to earth.

She is so incredibly warm and genuine- I can feel her generosity through the screen. Thank you for reminder of the magic of gathering and that not everything needs to be perfect and shiny. Warm and bright and full bellies are what matter.
