a couple things about that (from a fellow introverted Gemini): -being an introvert versus an extrovert isn't a strict conversion to being shy vs outgoing. You can be a shy extrovert or an outgoing introvert. It just has to do with how you get your energy! Extroverts "recharge" by spending time with people, while introverts "recharge" when they spend time alone. -I believe some introverts can also recharge by spending time with a few close enough friends, or at least they don't use up as much energy with close enough friends, which is probably why Hoshi can be so chaotic when he's just spending time with the SVT boys!
