Your video is easier than the instructions that came with it.
You’ll laugh but I’m older and widowed and in a new house and I bought this for myself but couldn’t figure out how to make it work..watched your video and now I’m all set!!! Thank you!!

Don't feel bad I've bought 3 of these over the years from garage sales and never got them working right 😅I just bought one yesterday (3rd) and i'm tempted to just to put it to the curb lol. Seems like alot of hassle.

@@midoi8161 I forgot how to assemble mine & remembered why I loathe them (but my Mom said she wanted one so I gave her one of mine). I assumed it was a Suncast so I looked up the assembly instructions as it appeared I was missing a piece (leader hose part) & The Suncast Assembly instructions is literally 1 Sheet of paper that reads "NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!" I'm like....Oh man...Already was very close to just brutalizing this thing & buying her a big boy Retractable.
Very helpful, just got mind without any instructions. Thank you.
Great helpful video - Don't be like me and forget the two ends of the adapter hose are different, even though they look the same - Saves a few minutes of struggling with leaks to get them right....
Very helpful and easy to follow. Thanks
I Just bought the beige one. Your video was so easy to follow. Thank you so much!
Great video! My smart reel didn't come with a manual, but it worked with your tips.
Thank you so much for the advice and tips, also easy instruction. I picked up mine from my neighborhood, it was put out to take free. Didn't have instructions, but it's in a great shape. Much appreciated. Thank you again.

Great find! They are a bit pricy
Thank you. I just purchased the brown one in a beige color.
Thanks for the helpful information. I bought one from Menards and there were no instructions, just a code to scan. Watching your video was much easier to do.
Excellent demo. Clear easy to understand instructions. Great help!
Thank you for the video! Gave me a pretty good idea which one I need.
Wow thank you so much for this info I had no idea about the difference great video!
Thank you for the video mine came without instructions and the ones I found online did not help at all. I installed it completely wrong but your video showed me how to fix it 😅

Thank you very helpful
Big help 🎉
Thank you!
Thanks for your video!! Very concise and helpful!!
Haha... I should have watched your video all the way through instead of stopping early because (of course) it's leaking inside the box now I have to unreel it in put some plumbers tape on the connection. That's what I get for being impatient and thinking I knew what you were going to say before you said it.
Thanks
You should try it
What is the adapter your garden hose attaches to is on the inside of the reel to the left? Directly next to where the adapter hose attaches but on the inside?
I have the side reel hose assembly. I replaced an o ring. The hose assembly is not replacing it
Does it work better with vinyl outer layer hoses than rubber ones? I have a Continental rubber hose and worry that it might be too “stiff/rigid” for this.

As long as it slides through the guide hole it should be fine
Those auto-wind systems eventually fail and jam up. Plastic gears won't hold up. You're better off with manual winding
I bought the brown one for my parents, but what are those metal sticks for? We cut them out of the wheel.

I believe they are ground stakes to hold it down on grass or dirt

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage - Thanks for the vid! I'm wondering how sturdy is it during windy/stormy weather. 🤔
No one ever shows what it's like pulling th ehose out to use it... i imagine the box will move if you don't hold it down, right? Or maybe you can't pull, you have to uncrank it with the handle?

If the hose is heavy enough it can be pulled out and the box stays in place. Once most of the hose is out it will be pulled with you so it’s best to step on the foot mount
so it was leaking you can tell when I install mines I had the same leak what now????

The leak can be the o ring on where the garden hose connects to inside of the garden box. Being plastic, make sure the fitting the hose connects to is not cracked
It actually doesn’t work this well at all. I think you glossed over how much effort it takes to wind this correctly without knotting up the hose so it doesn’t unwind. I notice that you didn’t show unwinding the hose at all. It doesn’t work…at all! The other thing is that the “spool” does not have the diameter to wind the hose that tightly which contributes to kinks in the hose, obstructed water flow and leaves the whole wind vulnerable to knotting so it won’t unwind. I think it is a poor design total garbage and actually fraudulent. It would be better just leaving you hose lying around in the yard. Sorry yall but that’s the truth.

I believe we’re just better off winding the hose manually on to a wall hook. Can’t seem to find a decent covered hose reel that doesn’t kink the hose or the leader hose in time.
I dropped about 5k of gear twice in many years. On of the drops did not cause much damage. You are NOT a klutz. I assure you that my drops were much clumsier than yours. The good news is there are plenty of used and refurbished D750s out there.
You got bread. What do you do for a living?
I do not recommend them they get stuck when you wind them up and if you are tall your back will hurt a lot I do not recommend it for nothing

I decided to watch your video hoping you would talk about what those two metal bars are for and how to use it. Nothing about them. Disappointed.

I’m pretty disappointed in sun cast too. We can’t figure out where to put the stakes to actually help it stay.
