This dancer made me forget the masculine-feminine opposition. It’s all one, perfectly blended. And the breadth of dance influences you can see in this fusion choreography… Wow. What a masterpiece! Wish I could see this dancer live.

heatherwind It is actually Tribal Fusion Bellydance (It is similar to Bellydance, but It is like a great fusion of lots of rythms such as ATS (American trible style), flamenco, hip Hop, even ballet, and there are many variations like Dark tribal fusion, Indian Fusion, etc . And yeees, totally agree with you , he dances beautifully (: there a performance by a tribal fusion bellydancer called Zoey Jakes in witch she uses a mask, it is amazing, you should check It out (:

I don't think belly dancing as feminine, it's dancing. I've been belly dancing for 4 years now, but been a fan of it for 25+ years. When people say it's feminine, I ask why because my body can move the same way a woman's can.

There are extremely rare performances where your body and mind seems to be hypnotized by the performer....your eyelids doesn't even drop for a second.....after long time I feel so happy seeing this performance.....I was not very aware of this belly dance artist....thanks KZread for the recommendation......it would be a lie if I won't mention that I literally can't take off my eyes from your body and dance .....both.....marvelous magical performance

+Dani....Dancers know how to spot (focus their eyes in one location as they spin) to minimize the dizziness so they do not fall over. It takes lots of practice. Horus looks like a master. He does this very well, agreed, perfectly!

Seeng a mans body move so gently and beautifully like a woman's, his arms and hands doing delicate moves, hips moving but stomach thin, this is absolutely beautiful, if girls can do it, man can too, this is amazing and gorgeous omhggggg

The Egyptian belly dance was originally done by both men AND women, which is something I wonder if people commonly know.

So crazy, I was just wondering if there were any men who did belly dancing and right as I scrolled through my recommendations, I found this video! Absolutely amazing! Gosh, his movements are so beautiful and mesmerizing!

I've just started taking lessons again after a number of years; and while I knew men do dance like this...I'd never seen it. Wow. If I could become a tenth as flexible as he is, I would be thrilled.

I have never seen a man bellydance. I was listening to my meditation stuff when this was suggested and I couldn't wait. So glad I did. I was so hypnotized and it now feels like I am in another realm. Makes me want to get back into bellydancing

This us a real athlete. And a man whose in touch with both Ying & Yang.. Applause...

I just had to say something, but honestly no words can describe how absolutely hypnotic and amazing this was to watch, and what perfect song choices!! this was so, so beautiful!!

This is probably the first male belly dance that I've enjoyed! Very sensual and brilliant! (Other dances I've seen from male dancers seemed kind of awkward, but I think it's because this guy fully embraces the feminine fluidity of the dance that it works and doesn't feel stiff at all).

@@azelieledanzae7747 Belly dance first of all is divided between the eastern style and the western style. Plus it has different categories and from these they are subdivided. For example the Egyptian dance (what we considered like the traditional) has a range three categories, that are baladi, sha abi and shaqi. The type that the artist Mozarabe is presenting it is from the western style which is called tribal fusion. Its simple, you can just google it.

Actually, this is very much traditional belly dancing, which has to do with a very particular set of moves and masterful control and contractions of the belly and hip muscles. His arm, hand and foot movements are also very traditionally accurate, albeit all moves have been slightly updated to also reflect modern dance. ... and preformed by a man, of course! 🙂

@@saludosalsol thank you for information on the music, I didn't know what name to put with it. 🙂 But the dancing is not Western in any way. It is fully Eastern. It has elements of Arabic/Persian belly dancing, Persian/Turkish whirling dervish, and even perhaps a touch of East Indian/Asian hand movements. The only Western elements are the Modern Dance flavor of the larger kicks.

You have to love a man who knows how to move his hips

Its interesting to think how this kind of rule breaking, beautiful performances are the foundation stone to set new generations free to do as they please and not care about gender restriction. Now about the actual performances, is one of the best "belly dance" I've seen, really beautiful. Its like he isn't human, just like a mythical being or something like that and his moves are so clean.
