Jojo's last part in that song is actually quite powerful. I never noticed how strong it was or how long it stretched the first time around. I love the effect music can have, so I love it even more now, and I especially love how it grows distant and echoy because it's just like BOOM here you go, have a heart beat-skipping note or something. Plus the orchestra doesn't help my case

This movie is underrated. Also, the transition at Jojo's singing is pure ecstasy (1:01). Here's why: the actors voice, the fade out from Whoville to the clover, Horton and the Kangaroo both helping the clover, Horton walking to the beat, the crowd following behind them, the dynamic final vocal note, and the change from the song's band to the film's orchestra.
