Thanks! It's an amazing experience. Nothing beats the remoteness of Northern B.C on a Horseback hunt. Moose hunting at it's finest!

Moose hunting looks tough. It looks like hard work and no play at all. Not nearly as leisurely as deer hunting on a flat, lowland walk-in property. It looks like horses and pack animals are a swell idea for this gig instead of all this humping on the hoof. It looks like you have to be Army Ranger strong for this kind of trek in the western North American boonies. Not getting a hot shower each and every night must be a bummer and I would need to be clean-shaven every day myself out there. One should have a canvas sheet as a floor for the camp tent. Is there a good battery-operated shaver for the boonies? In the army, soldiers often had to shave with cold water in the field when I was in. It sucks to shave with cold water so I would need a good alkaline battery electric for the woods. MRE's might be the way to go. Some type of portable stoves.

What make, model, caliber is that rifle? Don't believe you said. Us leftys don't have many options. Beautiful gun! Great episode/ hunt.

Yep, there were actually 4 shots I believe. They all hit within a 5" group right in the lungs. He was dead on his feet after the first one, but wasn't going to let him get any further than I had to, so you keep shooting until they're down

This hunt was all about the remote horseback experience. You're right, you can kill a giant bull in Alberta as well, but I did this hunt for the adventure and the experience. If you've watched enough of our content, you'll see that most of our hunts aren't about an animal, they're about an experience. We hunt for adventures and experiences. The animals are the bonus on top
