I wanted off that asphalt soon as possible - but I did NOT know or think to move feet back in stirrups so it's just your toes in there so you don't get hung up - my family all grew up on a farm grandmother sold it when I was a young girl - mom & aunt Betty both huge on riding I heard my moms foot got stuck & she got dragged a,bit that can be deadly luckily aunt Betty was also riding & got control of the 1 my mom was riding 🙏❤️= April is intuitive! Back in March 1988 I was privileged to be able to buy a beautiful Norwegian Fjord pony mare & have her bred before bringing here home. She came home in October 1988, well settled in her pregnancy. (It’s a 12 hour trip & I wanted her well settled in her pregnancy before that trip.) I got her for pleasure carriage driving and spent the winter of’88-89 getting miles on her & me. She turned 4 in May ‘89 & delivered a beautiful filly. Like your mare, she had lot of common sense, I would drive her along the road for miles & she was amazing. One drive included going through McDonald’s & when no asked for my order I drove up to the window & the response was rather funny! I’ve got so many happy memories with Brith & was blessed to have her for 25 years before she passed. Her 2nd & last foal is now 23 and just as sweet as her mom. The stories I could tell of the adventures I had with Brith could go on for a long time. Thank you for bringing back some happy memories!
