A horse named after a purple flower, you with purple socks, riding through a purple flower field. Just after a sacred cleansing ritual, on sacred ground, visiting a saved site. I spontaneously wept with love 🥰 I send my love to Mr Iceland & tell him, one day I will come too!! ❤

I love Mr. Iceland!!!! He has the free spirit that just emminates aceptence, spirituaity and all things one with the land. Loving your trips Meg & Pete!

Couldn’t agree more!

That is the coolest idea ever seeing the horses out your window. You need to visit Australia, experience so many horse things like pub rides, campdrafting, the magic millions. Just to name a few.

Mr Iceland is such an amazing person, enigmatic and very profound...his relationship with his horses warms my heart. I really would love to visit.

I really loved this Elphick Episode! Mr Iceland is a really genuine character, Megan's presenting is so engaging and natural and Pete's camera work is flawless. You could make an ITV travel vlog, much more interesting than the dull tripe on the telly at the moment!

I've recently come back from a cruise around Norway and then watching this made me want to go to Iceland sooo bad! The Scandinavian counties are just beautiful!

Really enjoyed this, glad you're revisiting Mr Iceland. Beautiful camera work as well.

As you love Iceland you'll have to go to Norway and ride the Fjord. I was in Iceland this June too, arrived on the 19th. I did a lava field trek. I didn't drive so couldn't get to Mr.Iceland unfortunately.

I’ve always wanted to ride an Icelandic horse , there are blinking gorgeous! It must be so peaceful to ride at night. I’ve always wanted to do it but it has been hella rainy in the evenings so we have not had a chance to do it. I cannot wait for more travelling videos! Love your videos❤❤❤

gonna do a little double comment here. Iceland once again looks absolutely magical! I’d absolutely love to go there, but I’m not really a rider anymore - used to do wester riding as a kid and went on a riding safari last April in Afrika and noticed that it’s absolutely not like riding a bike 😂😂😂 maybe also because western saddle are so absolutely different but galloping was absolutely scary 😂. Does Mr. Iceland also take beginner riders? Are there any group travel options? Since I’m usually travelling alone I’m always interested in meeting new people abroad ❤ Sorry you might not know the answers, but anyways, engagement is good 😂

@@elphick.event.ponies I did it in 2013., you would be fine, it’s just insane endurance and then some. Camilla (pp) has my number. I made some lifelong friends and have a couple of people I could put you in touch with who organise expeditions/adventure tourism trips there. It’s an insane and awesome country, so diverse, steeped in equestrian tradition. In one trip you can ride horses, reindeer, camel and even fly eagles off a horse. If you want to do it, plan sooner rather than later as Chinese mining is eating the place up.

So, so jealous! I've only ever flown to Keflavik Airport and transferref to the UK. I've been dying to leave the airport and actually stay for a proper trip. It's so, so beautiful. Absolutely talking the fiance into visiting Mr. Iceland to go riding and stay overnight.

Such a wonderful experience and Pete did an amazing job shooting that footage. I can imagine it would have been tricky in the waning light. Loved your editing on this one too. Mr Iceland is hilarious! I’m not sure I would have been able to do the cleansing brrrrr! But your accommodation looked amazing. So lovely to have horses right there.

Mr Iceland makes me giggle - very dry. Also, this is very random but Meg you have the very refreshing quality of happily admitting when you are wrong - from indignant 'no I didn't!' to 'oh you're right, sorry' in 0.5 secs.

This video was beautiful, amazing camera work!

My favourite ponies/horses are>Dora,Winnie,Dee and Bear!! Of course the foals 😜
