@WarPaint 47 Absolutely correct! All one has to do is watch the videos and live performances, especially "Wolf Totem." . Shireg Shireg is the only song where I've seen Jaya being the primary singer. Galaa's voice is so much deeper and I think that's why he's the lead throat singer.

If anyone else couldn't get this out of their head and has to learn it: the high melody part is a slide down from G# -> E -> C# -> B then trills C# and B down to G# then slides back up to a quick B->C#->B->C# ->G#. The chorus is C# -> E -> slide to F# and back to E -> C#. The main verse centers around that C# and goes up as far as the E and down as far as the G#. It sounds like the first verse he might start on the G# and moves up as far as B and down as far as C# in similar patterns to the later verses centered around the C#. Love this tune and cant wait to see the Hu live one day. Enjoy!

I really like wolf totem!! And after listening to that and reading the words This Is A Warrior's Song it's beautiful this guy's throat singing and you feel it boom right in the chest and you want to know something there is no way on God's green Planet no way at all I would ever insult a Mongolian person and call them Chinese I don't care if they even got it in the bloodline I would not insult them that way no way no way not me!! They have a good history and Genghis Khan Mighty he was a conqueror of Nations these guys have a lot of Rich history!! I'm not going to mess with you history but just the same these guys are great and they do Native songs they play their own instruments and these guys are so authentic it's awesome HU!!

For those who don't already know, the "Chinggis Khaanii Magtaal" was composed by Munkhbat Jamsranjav with lyrics created by Tserendorj Tseyenby in 1993. This wonderful performance by The HU band's Gala (Galbadrakh Tsendbaatar) is an outstanding cover, as permitted by "fair use" clauses in international copyright law. (Unfortunately, downloads are not allowed unless or until the song's originators agree to such a request.)

@@enkhzayazundui1063 It may well be that Tserendorj Tseyenby was inspired by older lyrics for which any potential copyrights would long since have expired.
