The horse is the perfect animal for the cat as a companion. It has the height a cat loves, the hide the cat can cling to, and it nuzzles and licks the cat to show affection.

It is truly amazing how cats are so trusting of an animal that is so huge in comparison, but they just lie down right under the horse. So sweet to watch them together.

they have no fear. Even though they are tiny by comparison, they are predatory animals, like their larger cousins. They are fully capable of love and affection, though. They befriend (and even raise) other animals all the time. Female cats make better mothers than many other creatures.....including MANY human mothers. I watched a video where a cat stopped a human baby from trying to open an oven, while the mother was oblivious.

@@chadkarr7394 It’s interesting, isn’t it? I had the sweetest Calico cat growing up-and she was such a good mother to her three kittens. She was spayed after having the one litter and when we added one more cat to the family, she mothered him just like he was her baby too. I miss that sweet cat all these years later.

@@carolinaember thats precious. i have 3. they are the best pals i could ask for. got 2 older twins, a brother and sister. they are tabbies, grey tiger patterned. Even have orange noses. My 3rd cat is a younger russian blue cat. He is REALLY plush, like a stuffed animal. He looks fake when he is asleep 🤣😺

@@chadkarr7394 Aww, how sweet. Tabbies are such pretty cats. Orange cats are said to be super sweet and affectionate, and I’m sure the Russian Blue is just beautiful. Lucky you!! Hope they live out long healthy lives with you. Edit, I misunderstood, you said orange noses, not orange cats. Haha

It's adorable how the horse is litteraly trying to kiss and hug the cats using their lips and tongues. And cats are responding in their own ways. It's so cute ❤ I would want to hug both of them

From what I understand, Horses are really social animals and I think they're not exactly exclusive with herd membership as long as they know your not out to eat or hurt them.

You have to be careful though, a horse can and will eat an animal small enough to fit in it's mouth. (There's videos of horses eating baby chickens.)

Adorable. My horses love my cats. Horses are conscious of their size and weight and try to be careful around small animals. A mothe hen had chicks and the chicks were all over the horse pen and Dorado was very careful of where he stepped and didn't hurt a single baby chick......

That last one, that cat was definitely feeling tickled. It was doing that thing where it tickles so you back away but even though it's too intense it feels good enough to stay lol

Cat : ‘You’re pretty stinky, but I like you!’

And you know that when the orange and white stripped kitty is petting his horse friend's nose, not one claw is out! My cats have done this to me and it melts my heart to the max! Love is the answer, not the question.

So awesome and totally natural. Horses probably get bored just standing around in the barn, so along comes a Cat who provides lots of entertainment and fun. I can totally understand how they would be interested in each other.

@@siristarburst9 I agree. Love is not an emotion exclusive to humans, it's a real thing that other animals are capable of Feeling. Humans can bond with animals, so who says animals from different Species can't share a bond with eachother?
