Cool Info
Let's hear it for the old classics, expertly and lovingly read!!
Hello HorrorBabble! I recently discovered your channel after looking up HP Lovecraft Audiobooks, and when I saw the content your channel had, I was hooked! My job is very boring and listening to all of your readings while working really helps me through! Keep up the great work!
Sir, your an amazing story teller and some of the storys are so good 👍
First story.... So far so good. I'm only 10 minutes into it and love it.
I love the little synthesizer sketches between stories.
I always come back and listen to these brilliant stories. This is my most favouritest channel ever! Thanks Ian!! 💕
Ahh, such a perfect way to relax. Many thanks.
I do prefer the older stories to the over the top modern ones. The reader was excellent. Cee from the little haunted cottage in Ireland 💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀

Me too! I left Ireland when I was 16 (just about) and came to London alone, (I love it!) but as I get older and appreciate nature, I do miss Ireland and it’s haunted houses! I never thought that would happen even tho now looking back at the paradise I was lucky to grow up in, and I look at Londoners who never appreciate the amazing architecture of the west end and the beauty of the historic city and the amounts of trees here, and then there’s the park’s etc and I realise that the reason why I didn’t appreciate Ireland was because I grew up there! Happy Christmas! I am in London this Xmas but I love my own company! And I have the spirits in this Victorian building so I’m not alone at all really! 😇😉 🌹🕊🤍🕊🌹
I like these stories and your narration! These little-known classics are good. I really enjoy them. I like them all, especially "The Red God Laughed". Thanks, again, for sharing these gems with us!
This was a brilliant series, thank you very much!!
Oh a collection, very nice, thanks!
I'm glad we have this chance to hear again some of these forgotten classics of horror.
Thanks! This will burn out my workday nicely!
In my top five story narrators! Excellent work. Right up there with Hugh Fraser. Thank you.
you know its going to be good when its a diary format starting in june
You are the best story channel on KZread
Cheers mate! This'll be a great listen ;)
Excellent series thank you very much I'm on my second listen this is wonderful for me to walk 5 miles to or shall I say speed walk🕷🖤👍🕸👁🖤🖖👌
Man that first story hit me right in the feels
These are so good!!
Well Done, My Man!

@@MidnightVideo Thank you/ I have watched it and liked it. The Great Virus Scare has pushed everything else including corruption and terrorism into the background. A little bit more needs to be done for perfection - to prove "scientifically" that all corruptioners and terrorists are what they are because they are or were earlier infected with Covid.
I have just discovered you and it was love at first listen!

Love it, Love it.....
Ahhhhhh, but he's smooth, like a good whiskey, I could listen for hours, but I would have to change channels to get some sleep
The captain says "brackish water" which is a mix of salt and fresh, so this is incorrect as they are on the open sea.

Really enjoyed your correction. I love words, sayings, and the correctness and information about them. Thank you.
Dear sir I truly appreciate and enjoy the radio programs I have found and hope to enjoy more thank you it's awesome
HorrorBabble, it is always good to expand your catalog with stuff like this. The Lovecraft stuff is great, but its perhaps a bit over represented sometimes when i am just running these on autoplay. ;)
These are the BEST!! Thanks very much!! Great Job narrating!!
I made the dumb mistake of trying 2 sleep to this ...made me realise how crazy this world is now....
That second story is one of the saddest, most poignant I've heard lately. Earth's second chance with an "octopus" race? Nope, guess not.

Smells like jealousy from here... ; } Some people are so small that they wouldn't exist... unless they pop up on other's channels?
Kind of "Clock work Orangish" found where I'm spending my weekend.
The Doom of the House of Duryea, a sad and stirring tale of a Father's love. Locked from the inside..... Who was whom..... We know. Guarded- Jed got what he deserved. Gonna burn.

That's because humans never change , we are war .
pretty good - we want more sci fi
Don't worry, those TN mountain men, like Jed are long gone...or are they. Being near "Mayberry" NC I find it funny that Jed considers folks from (the mountains) of VA and NC as foreigners.

@@HorrorBabbleI didn't know about the billing changes so thanks for the heads up. All of this is Chinese to me. Maybe my friends 5 year old can help me as little kids are experts in navigating stuff like that. 😁 But seriously. I will see if that helps.

@@HorrorBabble it would be helpful if Google or KZread let users know there's another pay option. But nooooo. That would make too much sense.
wonderful reading :). but the first story is so sad - i can’t listen to it again. . .

One of the million memes from hell. The faux-cleverness and associated lack of sophistication behind it is scarier than many of these stories.
, Again, I don’t understand what’s going on. The narrator I thought was only one, could do an excellent American English accent, but the past couple of videos I’ve watched, he’s not doing that, and the way British people pronounce certain words, like “epinephrine“ is totally different from the way Americans pronounce it and Reading dialogue from the 1930s and 40s United States English with a British accent, just does not work! For me. I’m sorry, but it almost ruins the story again for me. Sure she’s falling on deaf ears because this is not the first time I’ve commented and requested to no avail but anyway, love the channel, but for the same reason, I left audible, I can make or break the story and lately, Miss channel, it’s the latter
