What a nasty mother. The daughter is such a lovely bride.
Her mother has absolutely passed her own body issues and prejudices onto her daughters. It's such a shame that she's so mortified by something she has no control over. It's a shame the first bride has clearly been made to feel shame about having a larger bust by her mom. DD isn't THAT huge, especially at her size. I kniw: I've been a DD (and a bit bigger during pregnancy and breastfeeding). They're not a burden at this size. They don't cause back problems and cause your bra straps to cut in and things like that. Yes, it's ample, but not ridiculous.....but to feel that she "looks disgusting" or "nasty"?? That's not right. That's not OK. She has a beautiful figure and her bust was not disgusting. It's fine to want to be more modest, obviously, and not have them flashing out the sides or with a lot of cleavage showing, but that's clearly not all that was. That was mom's issues having been projected onto her all her life, and she feels shame for how her body grew. No doubt mom has said things like bigger boobs are cheap and trashy looking or says they're only what strippers or sex workers would have, and degrading those with a larger bust.

i've been a DD since college and, like you, they got even bigger after pregnancy & breastfeeding, but at this point my big boobs are one of my best qualities. i love V-necks and tank tops and i only avoid strapless because unless it's a full-length corset the bra will just roll down. i just wish it wasn't so expensive to find bras that can accommodate DD+ breasts.

And when the day comes that I might be privileged enough to be part of a future daughter in laws entourage, I hope I'll be just as supportive to her as I've tried to be for my boys.
As an E size cup girl, I totally understand her. When I was a teenager, I deliberately wore oversized tops because I was embarrassed. It didn't help that my mom would constantly be on my case over showing cleavage, which was something I couldn't control.
Mom taught her to absolutely hate her body.
omg that mom 🙄🙄🙄
I have to say, this bride had me cracking up the whole time - from her horrified expressions to the relieved/mortified "YES" when they asked if she was ready for a different dress. I loved her keeping-it-real personality and willingness to try other things. Couldn't understand why mom was talking about muffin boobs on the second one, I know she was imagining that once they made alterations they'd want to make it fit her closer and the bust might tighten, but it looked like it was fitting her really well the way it was to start. Also her idea that someone was going to run up to her and rip her dress off seemed odd but I guess you never know who is going to show up to a wedding these days
“Someone could just pull your clothes off”. . . Who says that? Who would DO that? Mom is obviously lives through her daughter and is jealous and self conscious

To answer your rhetorical question. The only answer I came up with is the groom during the wedding night, but not during the freaking ceremony. 😂 Weirdly enough, I believe that the mother would never be satisfied, even if she were covered head to toe and not showing any skin at all. She would call her plump or something. These mothers only know how to break someone’s self-worth.
OMG !!!!!!! I wish these daughters would stand up to these mama's trying to take over 🤦🏽♀️
What a negative mother.
The daughters face when her mom said that about her fat 😢she definitely killed the flame she had for that dress

I'm a 30J (at biggest 34J) good bra is everything. I've never had a single back pain from my boobs. US women seem not to have access to accurate sizing and properly supportive bras.

@@confusedclarinetgirl I've never found a comfortable bra. They can seem comfortable in the store when you try them on, but in reality they are so uncomfortable after about two hours. I've been fitted several times and have tried many brands and styles.

@@leannecanty8821 if you're in the UK I'd recommend Cleo by Panache, Panache, Fantasie, Elomie and Primadonna. The latter are insanely expensive but it's like kittens holding your tits up.
Eleven thousand dollars for a dress? Insane. You can look amazing without spending that much! 😮 They better say you look amazing after you paid everyone's salary for the month! 😂
I had the exact experience when dress shopping as a large-chested girl. I never imagined a strapless gown could be so flattering but it really was.

Same here! Fell in love with my dress online but didn't know how a strapless dress would fit my girls. It was perfect! Anything else wouldn't have worked.

Hey the 1980s long sleeve pouf dresses with high necks worked. The variety choicecwas ugly, or uglier, or a halter slinky dress! Wexall wore versions of ugly pouf, but boobs were under control! Lol
My mother was jealous of my sisters and I, not because we were pretty but because we were young and she was getting older!!
I just went dress shopping with my daughter who is also big busted and self conscious. I picked a dress for her that I knew was her style and she loved it. She looked beautiful in it and she liked it until she tried on a complete random dress by the attendant. She absolutely glowed in it and I knew that was her dress and yes it’s strapless which she did not want. All I cared about was that she was happy. It’s her wedding, her dress and her day not anyone else’s. Sometimes I don’t understand these mother’s.
She looked stunning. I love dress 2 on her! Her mum was mean.
How can a mom say "I was shocked it flatters her?"
My mate had a reduction and they grew back! She’s only petite I feel bad for her back.

How?! This is so discouraging as I was hoping to get one eventually
I know that there's the consideration of fabric...but the average bra size in the United States in 2013 was 34DD. So, I question why bridal gowns are so limiting. They cost thousands of dollars (and that's before alterations come into play, which they most likely do). If I'm trying on a $1000+ dress, I want to know that it's going to fit well, with some certainty, before I commit to the price tag plus alterations
This young woman looks amazing in every dress!
I feel so bad for her.
I feel for her. It's not always a blessing.
That 2nd dress was great.
You know, as someone who was insecure for being small chested AND had extremely strict religious parents, I’ve learned to be happy with the boobage I got and flaunt what is or isn’t there 🥳 hope this girl finds/found her confidence too
8:17 it helps not to have anyone there for the final fitting. It gives you time alone with YOUR special dress and saves the final reveal for the wedding. No outside opinions making you second guess yourself. Just time alone with your amazing dress and time to soak up all that self confidence ❤❤❤
That first mom was absolutely perpetuating the negative body images that we’ve fought so hard against. Good lord, when a dress is properly altered to accommodate bigger breasts, it makes all the difference. And who the he!! did she think was going to come by and yank the dress down? It’s fitted through the bodice, not a stretchy tube top! Sheesh! And that second bride was gorgeous. She reminded me of one of my former colleagues who was tiny like that. Alice also taught third grade. I remember her class being stopped in the hallway once by someone who wasn’t from our building demanding to know where they were going without their teacher. Alice turned around and said, “I’m right here!” Yes, by May, a couple of her boys were actually taller than Alice.
I was a G cup and had a reduction to a C cup, best thing I ever did!!
I understand the daughter wanting to be covered up, I wouldn't want to feel indecent on my wedding day either but the mom is not helping the situation at all with her attitude about it, like who the heck goes around at a wedding pulling off the bride's dress??
You don’t get arm pit fat in a wedding dress as it’s structured and fitted! I can’t believe the mum said that! She looked beautiful. I’m busty and a strapless sweetheart neckline with an a line skirt was by far the best fit for my body on my day too.
She went from a $3,000 budget, to getting a dress that was over $11,000. That's almost 4x her budget. I mean, it's her money but that is a hefty amount of money to be spending on a wedding dress especially if your budget doesn't allow for it.

@@spiercephotography Sure, but I'm guessing that money would have been hers to spend on something else if it wasn't already gone on the dress. Like maybe putting it towards a downpayment for a house? Dad may have a lot but I'm guessing there's a limit somewhere...

Does anyone know what happened to them after the wedding? Are they still together?
That mother should be ashamed of herself 😊❤
As a lady who is big busted, it's bloody hard to find anything that fits up top, especially if you are a smaller size everywhere else. Also stapless is awful as you spend the whole day pulling it up
My first thought was; honestly DD is really not that big?
Poor girl. Should have left negative mom at home
Watching these videos makes me so greatful for my mother. All she wants is my happiness, nothing else.
My mom is same ..she is jealous of me.i didn't understand when I was teen but understand now.I have a daughter and I can't imagine having jealous with her.
The second dress really look nice on her
Love that 2nd dress
I wanted to see the altered version of first dress!
My teenage daughter is a DD I would never make her feel insecure about that
If this bride is so concerned about the size of her breasts, there's always breast reduction surgery. One of my high school friends gained a lot of weight after four pregnancies, and she was very self conscious about her breast size. She had trouble finding tops or dresses that would fit, so she made the decision to have the breast reduction surgery. Five months post surgery she said she felt like a new person----she was ecstatic not having to carry around all that weight on her chest. Her arms and neck no longer ached, and she said for the first time in years that she didn't wake up and spend the entire day with a backache. She no longer felt frustrated about finding clothing, and she still maintains today that this surgery gave her a new lease on life. It also gave her the much needed energy to keep up with the children---lifting them, picking them up off the floor, changing diapers, etc. While breast reduction surgery may not be for everyone, it worked for my high school friend when her life seemed like her breast size controlled her daily existence.
DD isn't even that big
Both ladies look beyond gorgeous. Well done to them.
To think that Randy is the designer of my Daughter wedding dress... Priceless! What an amazing beautiful person he is, so happy he help my daughter for her big day ❤️
If bride #1 wants her marriage to last, she’ll have to go to personal therapy. She’s inherited a lot negative self image problems from her mom, and trust me, it’s very draining on a relationship to prop up someone with negative self image and poor self esteem.
I feel her pain, and my mother had nothing to do with it. I was a DDD even I was skinny, now I'm a K. I have always felt that I look pornographic even in the most modest of clothes. Studies have also shown that a woman's satisfaction with her breasts decreases as the size goes up. If I can ever get the surgery, I will be very happy.
I literally lost my cool at that mother's comment.. she completely ruined the girl's excitement and mood.. how evil can you be to hate your own girl..
They danced together so beautifully, you can tell he really loves her
Good job Katie and Valerie! You both look great.
