Mount Etna in Italy erupted with a fiery display as lava spewed from the crater in Sicily. Molten lava erupts powerfully from the Voragine volcanic crater on the majestic Mount Etna along the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy. has experienced intense activity in recent days, lighting up the sky near Catania.
While Stromboli off the northern coast of Sicily spilled lava into the sea. The smaller Stromboli volcano spewed hot ash and lava, raising alert levels on the Mediterranean island of Sicily and forcing the temporary closure of the airport in Catania, disrupting flights.
There has been increased activity at the approximately 3,300 meter high stratovolcano located on the island of Sicily over the past few days. Activity has been particularly visible at the Voragine crater, which has begun to erupt strongly with lava and ash. Lava flows were also observed from the Voragine crater towards other craters.
According to estimates from the regional office of the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Catania, the ash ejected from Etna reached a height of about 4.5 kilometers (2.7 miles) and was moving southeast. As a result of the ash cloud, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology issued a code red warning for aircraft passing through the area.

No it doesn’t, all volcanic activity emits 280-360 million tonnes of CO2 each year, that’s less than 1% of global CO2 emissions. This is a old myth that has been scientifically disproven over and over.

It helps to have a great memory as some of those photos are the ski area that was destroyed decades ago and the damage as well. Stock footage can be used to mislead as in this case.
