F1 decided not to let Andretti join the sport in 2025 because they thought the team wouldn't add enough value. In May, Mario Andretti, a famous racer and father of the team boss Michael, went to Washington to support a letter from Congress to F1. A group of senators also wrote to President Biden's administration, asking them to check if the decision broke antitrust laws. The senators hinted that foreign car makers might have worked together to block Andretti.
This means there won't be an 11th team in F1 for now, even though adding a new team could make the races more exciting. Andretti could try to buy an existing team, but this would take a lot of time and money. They have already spent a lot on developing wind tunnel models for current F1 cars.

Will a new team lead to more competition at the top within 4-5 years? I don't think so.
Red Bull is allowed two teams and Andretti none? What a crock!
If Christian Horner things the Andretti should buy a team Christian Horner should get Red Bull to sell their second team. F1 needs more teams because REDBULL , MERCEDES , RENAULT, FERRARI, WILLIAMS have all got rookie drivers but at this rate if the teams do not get rid of their current drivers not of their rookies will ever get into Formula 1 and if Andretti buys a team he might shut it down and move it to America and then that means a lot of people will be out of work and that will be formula one's fault and the rest of the F1 teams because they are too greedy and they are not thinking about the long term of Formula 1 they should not be getting as much money out of Formula 1 because that money was for 12 teams not 10 any Formula 1 want to make it better for the team to make money they should have made the car smaller so they will cheaper to make so the Formula 1 and the fear and the team need to get their answers in gear

Christian Horner is the Jack Sparrow of F1. Handsome and swashbuckling but watch your back. None of their excuses hold water. F1 is threatened by Andretti / Cadillac. A new works team on a grid that's growing stale. Not worth it indeed.
I canceled F1TV. I and my hardcore motorsport travel group is boycotting the sport. 50% of the time, F1 races are a bore fest , the rest of the time competition is marginal. Let me know when Andretti is on the grid. Now you ram fake race cars down fans throats. Screw F1.
