Yes!! I was absolutely right about it being a Syncrosmoke model from the seventies!! Lovely to see a Duchess Class with Syncrosmoke!!

I loved my little 0-6-0 Jinty tank locomotive. She was my best and favourite locomotive in my original collection of locomotives.

I absolutely love the sound she makes. She must have been hardwired with the DCC Sound system!! And by the way, to use the Syncrosmoke system, you syringe it into the chimney. From there it drops into the tank.

Yes i believe it used the original sound and a extra chip in to power the generators it looks and sounds amazing a little loud but amazing😊

Hi, great video content, it’s very good to see that other manufacturers are developing smoke generators for model locomotives for all brands, it make the steam locomotive come to life even more, I’m not a fan of the weathered finish but some items suit it, thanks for sharing.

Thank you made up you enjoyed the video and yes south do a wide range of different sizes voltages etc for all different types even ones for houses. I do agree about the weathering i ts the only loco i have thats weathered and usually prefer them pristine but this one seems to rock the weathered look. Thanks for watching😊

@@Themodelrailer The weathered look reminds me of Marmite, if it floats people’s boats then fair play to them, I spoke to a person from a model manufacturer a few months back ho told me that they produced some models with the weathered look because they know the demand is not as popular as pristine so they wouldn’t have to make so many models.

@StormmyStormmy i love it thats a perfect comparison 😂😂. Thats really interesting to know as always thought it was a similar amount made to pristine love learning and hearing little bits like this thank you for sharing!

By the sound of it, I would say it’s a Tri-Ang Hornby locomotive from the days of Syncrosmoke, into which you pour smoke oil. I had a locomotive like that in the 70s!!

Great video and review as always, well done. With less white, yes it was better, but you do need extra light, I think down low below the camera. Maybe use some of those Christmas lights you have along the table edge out of camera veiw. Also you can reflect light with a large sheet of paper or kitchen foil, this would also work well with your Dads layout, reflecting the light from the window, by having the reflector to your right.

Thank you and thanks for the help and advice for making my filming better i am a little tight for space where i film but will try to get some form of extra light to help out! I donloke to record on my dads layout without the light so as you can see the loco etc in a more natural light but i do see what you mean especially with some of the darker areas will try to do something with that at some point to. Thank you again so much for the help and made up that its steadily improving😊 Thanks for watching😊

Fantastic i know there are a lot of company’s in the uk that do decoders for all sorts of models and sure you should be able to find one where you are as but if you look to see how many pins it has sure there should be a near matching profile with the new hornby system! Hope this helps and Thanks for watching😊
