Actually surgical CASTRATION and ADT are often the same long term for many men. Up to 20 percent of older men never recover their testosterone levels above castrate level. So, their fancy shot might well leave you castrated for life. They never tell you the truth

Well as a kid I helped my step father cut pigs. Now at 75 I sure chose the chemical castration. So at least I have small testicals. I sure know now what those poor piggies went through.😢

David, I have localized gleason 8 cancer. What kind of radiotheraphy did you have? And How are you doing today...I am hoping that you are 100% fine. I am contemplating waht method to go with right now...Cyberknife, HIFU or robotic...I will appreciate a reply. thank you. Georgefrrr@gmail.com

MIke...I had Robotic prostactomy. Basically, because I was gleason 8 and it ened up being gleason 9 after my prostate was examined. I would not have had that treatment if my gleason socore was less than 7...definitely not.....I have great reasons and proof that I could have beaten the cancerous cells naturally....My PSA went up to 31 before I started my natural treatment (before the surgery) ....My natural treatment works miracles and started bringing my PSA down to 27 in 30 days.....I figured that it would take me 2 years to bring it down to 0 naturally, I believe that and I have proof of it. But with gleason 8 and all of the doctors scaring the shit out of me to gain the patient and the REVENUE .....My prostate removal was around $100K...Nice chunck of money for the surgeon. I can tell you more about my natural way to beat this naturally if you email me. Tell me more about your situation....PSA level, did you do a biopsy yet?

Thanks for the fast reply, Yes I did have an MRI biopsy, my Gleason score is A 7, my PSA is 6, at the moment I am going to make an appointment with another Doctor for A second opinion, I am 67 years old, but I am fit.

If you are having no side effects FROM ADT, you were either a below castrate level eunuch prior to treatment, or you are being duped with a placebo, or you are a troll for big pharma sales propaganda. Castrate your pet dog, and watch his libido be destroyed, his weight increase, etc. The exact same thing happens to men. If your initial response was no side effects, it's because LHRH agonists cause a big increase in testosterone in the first week or two before it completely screws up testosterone production. Your comments are misleading and deceptive for all the men who are being deceived, coerced, extorted, and intimated into this barbaric treatment to sell these outrageously expensive toxins without full disclosure and without FREE AND FULLY INFORMED CONSENT.

If ADT CASTRATION treatment is working as intended, there will be horrific quality of life destroying and life threatening side effects. You may feel wonderful for first month because it causes an initial Testosterone flare, but as your Testosterone level drops below castrate level, you will begin to experience the side effects. Your libido will be completely destroyed, mood swings, brain fog, muscle and bone loss, severe fatigue, hot flashes, lack of orgasms, bitch tits, penile and testicular atrophy, periodontal disease, cardiovascular effects, diabetes.. Don't believe the bullshit that ADT is generally well tolerated. ADT CASTRATION is insufferable for many patients and can be permanent in up to twenty percent of older men.

I took Elgard shot for 6 months on sept 6 about 9 days ago plus a tablet to be taken for 2 weeks. Until no side effect seen. Does it take longer to see the side effects? I am otherwise healthy person aged 72

Eligard results in a testosterone flair and you will feel great for two weeks then. Boom... All the horrific quality of life destroying side effects. I get the Lupron shot once every 90 days. I have prostate Gleason 8, with metastatic bone stage 4 cancer. This seems to be the most common sequence for Lupron.
