I don't know why people complain about the 4060, is a pretty decent GPU with a very low Power usage. I know 3060 owners might get salty but if you jump to the 4060 from any 20xx or 10xx series, this 4060 card is totally worth it

It's just bad pricing but lower VRAM and bus. About the power usage though, why care so much, we don't game 24 hours a day?

I jump from GTX 965m to RTX 4060😅😂..i don't Care about elitist i enjoy all games on ultra. The rtx 4060 IS better than rtx 3060. Upcoming games will show it

This is one of best optimized game in 2024 release for PC... I get 70+ fps @1440p, DLSS Q, FG Off, Very high settings ( Except Texture with High setting) in my RTX 4060 Ti.. With FG on 90+ all time

The Frame Gen is doing wonders.... Great 🎉🎉

Seems to be a nice port. Kudos to NIXXES. Ghost of Tsushima is in good hands.

Meanwhile, the PS5 still has 1800/60 and not 1080/50-60.... I’m the owner of the same card as well as the console and I understand that to get a better experience than on the PS5, I need a PC at least 4070, although on my own case 4080

​@@dota2forever441 didn't df show that even 1800p with dlss performance looks better than 60fps mode on ps5? And that 1440p dlss performance looks the same as ps5 which is also not native 1800p. But for the "better" experience you should have 4070+ card

Here on Brazil people complain about 4060 too, but now the price is about ~200 reais (~40-45 dollars) higher than 3060, a good deal (yes, prices here are just crazy, 1850 reais 4060)

comprei a minha por esse valor e não posso reclamar, meu objetivo era conseguir rodar tudo maximizado com DLAA em 1080p e está sendo perfeita nisso. Só não recomendaria para quem quer jogar em 2k, 4k ou com ray tracing e path tracing sem o DLSS. Por enquanto só estou jogando o Cyberpunk, tudo no ultra com DLAA, com fps limitado em 65fps (pq meu monitor é de 60hz) e a placa fica numa média de 65 graus com 45% a 75% de uso. ps: ainda estou usando ela com underclock porque minha fonte é só de 430w e não quero correr o risco de forçá-la.

Can a higher amount of RAM compensate for the lack of VRAM? I just saw it in other videos with RTX4060 tests, and there, without DLSS, it calmly pulled 40-45 fps in 1440p resolution at high settings. At the same time, the FPS drops below 20 here.

Well after watching DF review I thought that 4060 will show better results

here where I live the price difference between 3060 and 4060 is insignificant. What should I buy considering fsr fg is actually pretty good and RT is realisticly off the table anyway?

You should get a 4060 for 1080p only or a 3060 if you want to play some games at 1440p or 4K using DLDSR/DSR + DLSS.

Dlss tech is a piece of art. U can render in a lower resolution and upscaling that , making cards with less vram work like a more expensive card

The GPU can handle well the game, but i still think the 128-bit memory bus and the 8GB is holding the 4060 back.

I got the game, and I'm playing at 1080p max settings with DLSS on quality, Frame Generation On, 70-80 FPS. 100+FPS indoors.

newsflash.. RTX 3060 is recommended gpu for this game.. should have tested that before this.. also majority of gamers have RTX 3060 than this gpu.

Make sure you are using the latest Windows 10/11 version and NVIDIA drivers, also hardware accelerated GPU scheduling must be enabled in your Windows settings in order to utilize DLSS Frame Generation.

Dunk i got an old 5820k@ 4.2 with 7800xt. And k rarely dip below 60. On much scenes its over 80 on 2560*.

​@@MxBenchmarkPC it's not vram fault at 1080p, maybe it cause from a bug with dual sanse in wireless mode, need to plug in and get huge performance boost. There's discussion on steam

texture in this game use more Vram... for 8GB VRAm keep textures Medium .. I am not finding any difference between Medium, High and Very high at 1440p or 1080p resolution

I just have a PC with RTX 4060 and PS5. I watched the video and realized that I would definitely play this game better on PS5. РТХ 4060 50-60fps at 1080... Meanwhile, PS5 1800p/60 stable looks extremely sharp on my 65 inch TV. I definitely don’t want to play at 1080 after this.

GPU is still weak. I have a 3080ti, all high settings (no dlss/framegen) running 90fps at 1620p.

Not really, the game will look better on a 4060 simply because of a superior anti-aliasing quality with DLSS.

@koenuffing4416 the PS5 version uses checkerboared DRS in all its quality modes. Performance mode is rendering the game from 900p-1440p internal resolution to up to 1800p if I remember correctly.

@@MxBenchmarkPC I understand.......but man the Quality of the PS5 is too much of a gap. PCs should use this feature if they know people want to game a 4k

Of course, I’ll continue to play on PS5... 1080 is already too small and soapy for me, and even more so with DLS
