2022 here. This is genius. Love the bass in the background repeating and the monologue at the end. Just a perfect song.

Every December I come back to this song.

First time listened to this song, i thought those was my years. now, it has been 5 times, those years not coming yet. Then I realize that no matter how hard i try, failure is catching up. Something i have learnt and the very thing I have to do is just keeping my sanity in check each coming years.

I listened to this in 2015 and made 2016 my year. 2017 has been great too. Thank you Hopium.

This song basically describes what it's like trying to live life with undiagnosed ADHD. I've just been diagnosed at 32 years old. This song perfectly describes the desire to get your life on track and the confusion and self criticism when you just don't seem to be able to that comes along with undiagnosed ADHD. Every single thing in my life made sense after getting diagnosed.

Wow my friend's and I used to play this when we were hanging out. That was a year ago. Huh, time flies... Love the song ;)

This song gives me so much feeling and I know I'm a dreamer but it just makes me get out there and do what I want to do without anything or anyone holding me back.

In the video clip I saw a girl who I imagine is the subject of the song (a dreamer girl who needs to get a grip and learn that life is not what she has deluded herself into believing) and is made to look completely vulnerable and exposed. Embarrassed at her stupidity, she has a choice to feel sorry for herself and continue sleeping in until midday or get the fuck up and do something with herself before it's all over... Anyways. Great song.

These lyrics are so true to my life right now...

When this song came out, it was featured on Mr.Suicidesheep's channel. That's how I first heard it. I was 22 years old. I had failed college twice and had my longest period without work. It lasted about 6 months. I had been in the claws of addiction to weed for about seven years at that point. It was normal for me to wake up at twelve, or even later and not do anything but smoke joints and browse the internet. I was becoming very aware that I didn't do much, but my mantra was always: "This year I'm gonna change! Just not now, but I will so it's okay." I loved staying in, away from the elements outside. I didn't like answering my phone if people called, and texts I could easily ignore, and then forget because I was so stoned. Time stood still and this song was at that moment, the perfect soundtrack/warning in my life. I have since found a stable job and kicked the addiction, so time is moving again. But never will there be a song that I so closely hold to my heart as much as this one. I was one of the dreamers.
