Deltarune is a role-playing video game developed by Toby Fox. The player controls a teenage human, Kris, who is destined to save the world together with Susie, a monster, and Ralsei, a prince from the Dark World. During their quest to seal the Dark Fountains prophesied to end the world, the group meets the inhabitants of the Dark World, some of whom try to stop them. The combat system is based on bullet hell mechanics where the player must dodge multiple projectiles launched at them by the enemy. Similar to Undertale, enemy encounters can be resolved peacefully or through violence.

This is easily one of my favorite Hopes and Dreams remixes. Not only did you keep the original feeling of the song while vastly expanding upon it, you also made the ending part flow with the previous bit much better than the original. Hell, you even got the reverb and instruments at 0:49 to actually feel correct (as well as grandly bringing the main melody back after that part), which is something I haven't seen in any other single cover of the song on this website. You didn't stray incredibly far from the original song like many remixes seem to do, but you also added a lot of your own ideas and influences to keep the song feeling fresh and very different from the original every time. You've got some damn fine music skills my guy, and I eagerly await more from you.

might be my favorite Hopes and Dreams remix ive heard yet, good stuff! (though i wish the doctor leitmotif was included like it was in the original at around 1:14, lots miss it cuz its VERY subtle)

Doctor is a leitmotif from Homestuck, (and was for some reason included in hopes and dreams) I recommend looking up "Doctor Homestuck" and then listening to a version of hopes and dreams without the main melody. You can hear it best that way!@@rarecrom

@@rarecrom It's a track from Homestuck. The leitmotif in question is actually from an old, old unreleased song by Toby Fox called 'Penumbra Phantasm'. Both Hopes and Dreams and Doctor used that leitmotif.

i've heard this float around only a few times, but i always thought Penumbra Phantasm referenced doctor, not the other way around and that has seemed like the common consensus, do you have any evidence to point otherwise? cuz ive been curious @@yellowdaffodil7251

I was gonna play it and then do some remixes of it. I’m just mainly getting my backlog of remixes out, and “completing” the main OST before I start going crazy on fan stuff. Recommend some yellow songs though, would be nice to know the fan favorites before I play it!!

OMG I love this SO much!!!! You brought so much new energy to this track with those tones!! If I were to be **really** nitpicky, I must admit I really wish the contrasting high notes (G and A# I believe) from the original were included at the 0:35 and 0:47 sections just to really give it that extra *umpf* of ultimate climactic energy over the regular Undertale melody. Regardless though, you did an absolutely fantastic job, well done!!

i think it's just because im spending most of my day making vids. if you think about it that way, im really not gaining much from how much work im putting in haha. not to say im not appreciating it, just that youtube is kinda rigged edit: PLUS engaging with commenters builds a community and generally makes people want to subscribe. they know my channel is not only somewhere they can listen to music, but also a place where no one is really negative to each other. everyones just here to listen to some music
