This is my go to song when I need to be reminded that hope can be the result struggle. Thank you to the author Jason Robert Brown for writing this powerful song and thank you for Natasha Yvette Williams for singing it with all your heart.

My hear aches and I cry with pain watching this in the time we are in as a nation. Had it not been for the audacity of hope sustaining as and pushing us forward with a lure of a better tomorrow then I think history would have been written with so many black hearts. I hope today's pain, anger and frustration will fuel our determination to see this movement to its rightful conclusion... living upto the decree of "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Such a beautiful song and amazing voice. . . I want to believe and feel this and with such passion, it seems possible. What a gift!
