THIS IS HALF-TRUE: the root cause of this movie has everything to do with the fact that the ANC failed in AMENDING the CONSTITUTION and advance to elect the president of the republic DIRECTLY IN 2 ROUNDS. Once you've done that almost all the problems disappear like the proverbial snow in the sun: a. the president will have a DIRECT mandate from the electorate; 2. he, for having WON the election has his own party literally towing his line, while jogging for positions in office; 3. he, from a position of electoral strength can invite who HE wants for dinner. I also suggest that SA moves to AMEND the CONSTITUTION to introduce the office of the PRIME-MINISTER. The current prime ministers of the provinces should hence on be called GOVERNORS!

Don't point fingers at Ramadollar. ANC thieves overpower Ramadollar in the NEC meeting. These thieves don't want DA cos stealing won't freely and easier. With the DA in the mix, many ANC thieves will go to jail including Zuma.

What the DA wants is less than what their quota entitles them to. They are being quite reasonable but the ANC is having difficulty in giving up a share of it's power. If the DA walks and is replaced by MK and EFF will their demands be less than the DA's ?

ANC are playing games. They did not get 50 % but still want to have the same power

One is Marxism and the others are socialism, communism and free markets and capitalism with a smattering of socialism. Regardless of whether you think the DA is "white" you couldn't be further from the truth. According to stats approx 8% of the population is European so where does the rest of the votes for the DA come from? Riddle me that batman .... Please .... I don’t think the DA is aggrieved by the inclusion of the other parties per se… but the problem is when the ANC tries to decide how many ministries positions should be allocated to each party as if they are doing favours to the DA…

If the DA walks away from this GNU, is a two can play a game scenario . Never humiliate your partner in negotiations , unless pushed at a corner by your opponents. Open card type of negotiations. Watching this space with anticipation. Don't sellout the Trade and Insdustry ministry , a very vital component of the poor. They should cool off and meet each other to move forward , but never display weakness to your opponent. GogoZille is a an obstacle and a thorn in a flesh, she needs to stand aside as she is not the leader of the DA in parliament, but DA have allowed her dominancy and her bulliness to stand on their way. I can see EFF and MK waiting eagerly for the fall out, especially Malema the opportunist. They will eventually find each other again, we need to clean this country of corruption and create jobs. ❤❤

Doctor, can you tell us, is the ANC entitled to decide how many ministries should each party get? Secondly, how many ministries should be allocated to the ANC bearing in mind that the position of the president and deputy are theirs already?

ANC is in a corner, the electorate gave them 40% of the vote. Now make the right decision for the country, not the party.

Hi my favorite seasoned Political analyst. Let cool and matured heads lead. There are internal dynamics within parties , very tense and grand standing.Very sensitive grandstanding negotiation. Section 17, the Pres has the ultimatum to appoint the cabinet as stipulated in the Constitution.

ANC needs the DA. The ANC can't handle the responsibility of running South Africa.

Indeed SA citizens can replace parties that are party serving while preaching GNU in the media, 5 years is just around the corner we are carefully considering. Perhaps a new legislation giving guidance on the cabinet of the GNU will suffice with the requirements that must be used to make the selection of the said ministers. Coz absolute power by the President also undermines balance of powers bcoz Presidents can also abuse their power as we have seen in the past.

The only political analysis who knows what he is talking about and not giving a biased opinion. Great talk.
