It came in the mail yesterday and my mom was so excited, it makes me happy.

Just bought one and it works great and very fast. I used to hire Rug Doctors and the money I’ve spent hiring them over about 30 years I could have bought several machines. I like that it is fully automatic and the detergent dispenser is automatic with no mixing required. How wet the carpet gets is dependent on how fast you move it forward. The dry function just has the vacuum working so you can go over what you have done and suck as much water out as possible. 👍👍👍 It’s a good idea to pick a warm / windy day so carpets will dry quickly.

Thanks for posting the informative video. I've been comparing carpet cleaners for a week. This model is looking good. My last rental RugDoctor leaked and I'm tired of cleaning all the carpets in 24 hours. It will be nice to clean sections as needed.

So... I got one. Have used it for the living room, then again today for a carpeted stairway with landing. It works, does not leak, it's quieter than I thought it would be and it cleaned better than a rental. (It does take a while to clean up the machine) Thanks again for your tutorial video.

Pre treating any stains help big time. I use Resolve. Very good product. I have had Hoovers and a Regal (Chinese Co.) that builds and owns both brands. They all did a great job.

Great vacuum🌼 It works very well especially at removing pet hair. It is just very big & heavy! I’ve had the same Hoover since 2011. It finally, after almost a DECADE stopped retracting the cord but the vacuum still works. I’ve loved this thing. It’s strong. It’s light and it was a great purchase.

Sorry that we do not have any specific number but it did take us quite a bit because the stain had set in for a while, but if it is just cleaning carpet in general or a non-set in stain it is much quicker. From previous experiences though this carpet cleaner is by far our favorite and we would recommend it.

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

It’s held up really well, still using it on a monthly basis. A few years old and still going strong. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself lol. For solution we use the recommended Hover brand but have tried knock off solutions and also have had good luck so I think it just comes down to personal preference.

That's correct. You need to vacuum your carpet first....then use the carpet cleaner.

I tried the bissel. Everytime I emptied the dirty water it would leak when I pulled it out of the cleaner. I ordered this from Amazon. But better

Can anyone tell me how to get the suction cleaned out cause mine is clogged completyto the point it won't pull the water back up. I can feel there is no suckion when I put my hand on the openings

Hey, thanks for the question. It dries in two ways. The first way it dries is that whenever you pull back on the carpet cleaner, and make it go backward, it will stop spraying out the cleaning solution and will begin drying automatically until you push forward again and then it will start spraying the cleaning solution again. The second way to dry which you use towards the ending when you specifically need to dry is a button on the left side that says 'dry' which will turn off the spraying all together and only dry when moving forward and backward. Hope this helps ,and if you have any other questions feel free to comment again.

It works good... i like mine

The waste water reservoir must be emptied before it get close to full. The vacuum motor is easily damaged and it's not easy to replace.

Make sure you properly have the tanks in even if they look in place try it a few times . It happened to me it wasn't dispensing the water .

No it’s not too big or heavy. The best thing is it’s automatic so it brushes and sprays water on the forward pass and just reverts to suction when you pull it back or you can hit the dry button to just go over the carpet to suck as much moisture out as possible. The detergent is automatically dispensed as well. I’ve cleaned several carpets and rugs and they come up really nice. I am yet to try the upholstery hose attachment yet. 😀

Yes it does, dries really well actually.

DO NOT use the recommended solution. Put two tablespoons of powdered laundry detergent in the tank and fill with water! I used to work for Stanley Steemer and this is what we told everyone who said they shampooed their own carpets. Self shampooing really is bad for your carpet but if you can’t afford to hire Stanley Steemer then I guess it’s your only option.

I suppose that is a personal preference on what to do with it. Some flush it down the toilet, some send it down the drain. I've even heard of people using it to water their plants. Whatever your choice just don't dump it on the wife's head! That's my two cents. ; )

Don't buy it Hoover made another crappy product no belt available for it belt breaks throw it in the trash

This is too smart by half. I have an old Hoover (15 years or more). This new Hoover fails in one big way: there is no Rinse Only setting. And I don’t want it to “Dry” in reverse I want it to Rinse in reverse!! This thing has no rinse setting. As this guy says, the only way to rinse is to remove the soap tank and push it forward. The old Hoover had a rinse setting and a trigger so you could target where you want the rinse water. This one tries to be “smart” but, like most things that claim to be smart, is not.

These things are nothing but junk they're hard to store they're hard to keep maintained the hard to keep clean here's a tip just have wood floors all you do is sweep carpet never last carpets are gross my house is 110 years old and the wood floors look beautiful made out of redwood

John Lederer i just used mine and i find it does a good job and is easy to clean. the only thing i don’t like us that it automatically applies the water/soap. you have no control to add more water while cleaning. i used an extra weed spraying bottle for extra water when needed
