I fully recognize that it was probably just a decision behind the scenes for convenience’s sake, but the fact that Hooty unhinged his jaw and expands over the entire door in episode 1 and it is never again done or addressed is hilarious to me.

I just noticed after eda tore him off his hinges, he was repaired to open towards the inside of the house instead of outside. A symbolic nod to eda letting people in for the first time, instead of pushing them out.
