tbh Ragnaros winrate is much higher though? Like Jandice is still in 3.5 while rest of the tier 1 are 3.8. And Ragnaros is at 2.9 average placement

@@engeng-tu4dr Rag gets first like 2% more of the time compared to jandice. And then the next hero down is 7% lower (maiev). So I'd say Rag is just slightly better than Jandice

I was the Lich King in this game, my first instance of damage when I was in first place was to Pyramad who had just hit the triple Chadgar. I lost a little over 20 health and was sweating after. Strong lobby overall.

Yesterday I did a 50/400 golden garr, then I had to sell it to buy a 3/2 murloc with poison because I was against a full poison build and I won because I had golden selfless

The 1/1 is good imho, it takes a spot and you can’t buff it easily, you also need selfless to give him divine shield (or george). Maexnna too should stay. The problem are murlocs because they can get to 100+ hp (and amalgadon is op too). What’s the point to make a murloc a 60/60 when you can just give it poison with 1 card?

I just feel that demons are redundant now, they have no way to reach those stats and elementals has lots of supports and fun to play with

I've been thinking the same way but with mechs. I think demon comps can still get you top 4 but mech comps are just so trash I feel. There's even a tip that they give you that say murlock builds are good early game while mechs are good late game. I could not believe my eyes when I read it. I've never seen a good mech build since both junk bot got moved to tier 5 and the one devine shield robot got replaced by an inferior version. They need to bring some love to these archetypes.

gotta say that was one of this most fun dual i have seen at the end game

I rarely push for tavern tier 6 minions with elementals. Oftentimes I stay at 4 for quite a while trying to triple into Lil Rag or Nomi, which are both awesome (and there is also Tavern Tempest, as a consolation prize if you missed the two best ones). Is it worth it to push for tier 6?

Just wait until they add the new undead tribe with the first expansion of next year, then the deathknight class with the last expansion... standard/battlegrounds bout to get super crazy

I find it fascinating how despite your apparent boomer apm you start looking at battle stats first before doing your minions related actions. You know you're slow so get your board in order first.

Garr is pretty busted with an early Nomi, but it’s Elementals in general that are busted. They scale themselves so fast, there will need to be a lot of balance changes to make Elementals on par with everything else.

Golden taunt elemental is insane

Kripp got a murloc token and +2/+4 in stats from the hero power. It's like literally on par with getting 200/200 pogo stats. Back on top baby!

I think that's the godlike elemental game. It litterally cannot be better than this.. The game even offered Kripp a thrid Amalgadon and he declined it. The rest of his warband was fully golden. When he was rolling in the end I was even wondering what he could possibly pick up to improve.. Besides getting cheap elementals to buff Garr

@@ZeRafut As you said you cant call it pure elementals with 2 amalgadons and a selfless ( amalgadons may be an exception dik) , though you ought to be looking for them in every game and not go for a pure build, so this isn't the best elemental game by your logic. That aside even in a pure elemental build this build could get upgraded by getting a golden rag and gar though to get all these youd have to be extremely lucky

20:45 you should get 2 copies imo, even if you dont have the space for the summoned copies.

Kripp won 12 out of 18 rounds this game which is 66.66% win rate.

Man we got teased what could have been a much bigger Garr if you just bought some of those elementals instead of rolling at the end

Well yes every hero is good if you highroll, but some heroes are unplayable if you get slightly unlucky and some can carry you even if you get unlucky

the scenario doesnt matter, the question is the consistency. With jenice you are consistently getting first place, with galakrond for example, you need a lot of help. Especially if you get nothing out of his hero power. If you get lucky with hooktusk she is just op, you get a full board while beeing tavern 4 on 7 for example but the question is, how often you get that lucky and how often will it win you the game. with the addition of the elemental tavern 1's there are a lot more minions that can cheat out some gold, either if its a free roll or if with that other token generator. so you can get a bit unluckier than beforehand to get to the same results. which makes the hero better.

Kripp is the most lucky HSBG I have ever seen. Getting at first after taking so wrong decisions and having that boomer APM is the only prove I need 🤣
