🌸What is a Spoonie?
Someone with a chronic condition. Spoons are how we explain the amount of energy it takes to accomplish any (even simple) tasks.
🌸What is a Zebra?
Someone with a rare or undiagnosed condition (or both in my case). Th term comes from in medical school they tell students "when you hear hoofbeats, don't look for zebras" Meaning look for the obvious conclusion. Zebras are exceptions to the rule and constantly Undiagnosed or misdiagnosed because no one thinks to look for the rare conditions.

Since i have been crocheting so long and just started knitting, i got the knit sub. First was hat, second was mug rug and mug cozy, and 3rd is scarf. So far so good. I wish that we knew where to find more of this yarn! ❤ looking forward to next box! Loved your gold scissors too. Im saving mine for travel project bag!

Sage! I ordered a couple days ago and received my tracking number today… then I search for an unboxing video and found you! Thank you so much, very informative. When looking at my subscription on their website, I saw that you not only can skip, but set up the frequency, by number and days, weeks, or months… once a quarter is every 3 months. 😊

The item that you freaked out over was gold. I have the Singer brand version of them, and like them quite a bit. I haven’t heard of this box before, but I’m contemplating getting it. I’d probably get the knitting box because knitting is my relaxing craft. Crocheting is so new to me that it takes my total focus and, while enjoyable, isn’t really relaxing (yet).

It's something my dentist invented and I do not know if he sells it online but I will look into that.
My question always is, how well do the gold scissors cut. I've gotten scissors in orders that hardly cut at all. Then, once I bought gorgeous expensive scissors. Then I dropped them...they landed point down, which immediately srung the scissors. No more cutting. I've tried monthly boxes several times. I eventually am disappointed in them. All of you have great fun with these.

That’s a good point Anne. I’m not sure. I’ll test them and let you know. I know how you feel. Subscription boxes are always hit or miss for me too. I just take the chance because 1- to let you all know 2- I won’t know til I try!

Gold is the color, and Scissors, Goodness! I am a Scissors Girl since I was a small child. I have so many pairs. Every room in my house has at LEAST 1 pair, more like multiple. Would love to see your collection. I love the stork scissors like what you received in the subscription box. Great video. Thanks for letting us know about this. 🧶

No worries about alpaca wool, it's hypoallergenic. It's the sheep wool that you might have a reaction to it because of the oils. Hope all goes well.

It’s 95% wool so I don’t think even the lotion will protect me. I might put it in a future “you know what” 😉 But if I don’t I’ll email you
Brown wool yarn. 😢 it’s a pretty color medium shade I would add a rose color trim on the hat for a feminine touch. ♥️

It's a lotion my dentist invented actually. But yes, it creates a barrier.
Gold scissors
Are the gold scissors the same as ones you get in sewing kits? I also ordered this, and I found some stuff disappointing. They do have great pictures, but they are soooo small! For the knitting box, I needed instructions and the pictures were important to see. In the crochet box, the hat pattern was just half double crochet, but the images show a more intricate pattern, I think. Could you look at your instructions and see if you agree?
