The hookah I use is 173 years old and it came from an antique shop in Cairo. The base is hand blown glass with designs hand painted in authentic 18K gold paint and the shaft is a heavy gauge chrome plated brass with the chrome plating rubbing off in several places from typical use which is one way of knowing you have a vintage Egyptian hookah or shisha, as it is known in Egypt. I have all documentation on it to verify its authenticity and all I've ever needed for it is a new Barnish every couple of years. You can't beat a true classic hookah. I'm actually thinking of perhaps buying a new hookah and retiring this one as just a memento so it doesn't get damaged. Great video John.

im not going to act like i have smoked hookah forever but i will say one thing that i would recommend to someone who really thinks they are going to smoke a lot is the kaloud lotus being able to throw your coals on and not worry is great

lol thats what im doing with my hookahs xD john damn i put tape on the KM Stems and add the vase gromet and i make sure its tight but not to hard to open i put like 2 to 3 layers round and round of tape!(2 to 3 cause the tape has thin layers!) ;)

Ive always wondered about things i should know. Been smoking (non religiously for about 5 years) and i still dont understand things like: how to get thick smoke? Whats the different between hoses/bowls. Does using juice instead of water really make a difference? Whats the "right" amount of coals? Ive always found it to be 2 coconut coals are good, anymore and the smoke starts to bite very quick. If you could make a beginner/intermediate video that would be great!

That's just weed/regular cigs. Hookah is a lot different, sounds like you don't know a thing about it. It doesn't have any tar as far as I know, only the glycerin vaporizes and a bit of the tobacco as well. No added amount of THC. So your statement is bullshit unless you're talking about weed/regular cigarettes.
