Same, I remember that I paused it and beathed in and put very dramatically before getting up getting water, taking a few sips once I sat back down, another deep breath to mentally prepare myself before going and un-pauseing it. And the entire time, it played with the loudest silence I've ever heard. I was biting my check. The first and only time I have been that nervous while watching a TV show or movie of anything.

As for asking Henry, i assume Henry knows or knew this would be coming since he lives with them. And also asking a FATHER's blessing (not permission but blessing) is the right thing to do, and also something that Charming can take pride in, coz he has missed alot of his daughter's first moments and having this moment was beautiful. Respect of a father

When my Dad found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with three years ago, he asked me if i was ok with it. That's not going to last in a revival. Cause the loose end of the murder of David's father is still without an ending. And that ending is where the killer dies, like every other story. I always was uncomfortable with the idea of asking the father’s permission to marry his daughter. The only person whose consent matters in this situation should be the bride-to-be (or not to be). Also hated the whole “giving her away” thing that the closest male relative does when they walk the bride down the aisle. Feels very sexist and outdated. However, I know this dude is quite literally over a century old so I can respect that he wants to adhere to traditions from his time.
