    Shouldn't laugh. I used to run a fishing forum with lots of kayak anglers, we had an ongoing topic on how many people had lost rods reals and other tackle. Most people had lost more than one rod. We called the topic "Neptunes Locker"

    Nice setup, it would take ma all day to get from Shoreham to the Indiana wreck. I estimate you could do it at that speed in less than a hour. Your new setup definitely puts new grounds on your radar. Have you tried Looe gate and black rocks yet? Anyway I enjoyed you video

    Think it will be to wide for the van unless you put it on its side, but could be wrong. I let the air out of my one every trip but I do have a winch on my roof rack which I might use at some point. Oban on the water puts his straight on the roof rack. Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

  • @Andysfishon

    @Andysfishon

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes definitely a well built sib bud, I will definitely get a bigger honwave at some point, looking at the t35 due to the extra width and the aluminium flat deck. I would trailer it though couldn’t bare keep putting it up and down every trip.👍👍🎣

    @@Andysfishon Brilliant, thanks for your input. I have a quicksilver 360HD at the mo with a 25 HP Yamaha. It’s been a great little boat but it’s so heavy, it has ply floorboards which are a pain to put in once never mind every time you go out in it so it’s on a trailer! Will trailer the honwave too and use my 25 yam, it’s a 2006 2 stroke I bought new, the weight should be ok for the honwave with it being a 2 stroke, should shift well also. Thanks again. 👍

    Yes bud and only managed 8mph with two adults , but will upgrade at some point but fine with just me and Skye at the moment. Plus a bigger 4 stroke engine say a 9.9hp will be a lot more quieter when trolling for the bass.👍🏻

  • @Andysfishon

    @Andysfishon

    Жыл бұрын

    Weight of an outboard is a normal consideration depending on where you intend to launch from, I will keep my 5hp for beach launches and the bigger one will be mainly for slipway launches. But if there is two of you then you should be able to cope. To be honest if you buy a 6hp for two of you then it won’t be long before you want an upgrade to a larger hp outboard especially it you get into some bad weather and want to get back in quick. Hope this helps you out, if you have any other questions then feel free to ask.👍🏻

  • @MustRunTonyo

    @MustRunTonyo

    @@Andysfishon i understand, thanks for the details. But my situation is that i need to inflate and deflate every time, doing beach launches, thus i am limited to max 6hp weight. I'm not looking for speed and I'd be going out only in plain calm nice weather in the Mediterranean, not ocean, so i suppose i should be fine!

    It was great with just me onboard, but with another adult it slowed it down. I liked it for the beach launches nice and light but if there’s two adults then a 9.9hp is your best bet. I’ve also tried it with a 15hp but very twitchy a high speed, 9.9hp for me on the t32.👍🏻
