Grandmother Sherry Copenace talks about the first Treaties going back to the Anishinaabe Creation Story. She also explains how the Anishinaabe and the Dakota made a Drum Treaty and how that agreement brought peace and made the two nations relations forever. She also shares her own family history regarding Treaty No. 3 and the responsibility she has to ensure that the younger generations learn about the spiritual significance of Treaties.
