This is the best foldable hands down. Don't listen to those biased reviewers out there and get indoctrinated ffs. I have at some point, but happy I went with Honor. Have your own opinion. This foldable has the best screen, is the thinnest, has the bigger battery, great cameras, multitasking is unbelievably good (anyone using Honor would know what I'm talking about), has a smooth Desktop mode and software capabilities are just dope. I have a Magic 5 pro and I'm so happy for the decision as an ex Huawei user. If I would've listened to those biased anti-china, anti everything that doesn't suit their agenda reviewers, I would've made the wrong decision as I've done with Pixel 7 pro...no comment on that. Should've thrown it in the dumpster.

Skip this guys. I'm currently using the Oppo Find N3/OnePlus Open. Trust me it's a whole lot better. Invisible crease, Dolby Vision display, better multitask software better than Z Fold 5, powerful camera and ranked 4th place in Average ELO rating behind Pixel phones based on MKBHD blind smartphone camera video. This V2 is not even in the list. 😊

I have used a Fold 4 and tested out a OnePlus Open. Those devices feel like bricks compared to the V2.

Aside from the competition because it is appealing. Honor still did a really good job by slimming the hell out of the folding phone while still maintaining flagship quality experience. I mean c'mon I want a vapour cooling system in my device for gaming and Honor nailed by slimming the crap out of it

The phone floating on a piece of paper had me ROFL. What a marketing strategy. Of course it's real but it has nothing to do with the phone being (although a little) light or heavy, its the surface area of the paper that distributes the load so the pressure reduces significantly which doesn't break the surface tension of water!

It still makes a good point about the weight of the phone, no other company has such light yet large foldables. No other company can claim the same feat. It's much more comfortable to use a large device that has its weight evenly distributed, plus the overall weight is extremely light as well.

Honor is killing it man.

This is the global version with Google Play Services including Dutch language. But Don't buy the Chinese Model without Google Play Services, and only English and Chinese language. The Chinese Model will not work in the Netherlands

I bought honor magic v2 over oppo find n3. Oppo find n3 its like carrying a brick while honor magic v2 it's so comfortable and beautiful. Battery life is super good.

Looking forward to your HONOR Magic V3 review - could you also review the stylus & foldable software for MagicOS? I'm coming from Fold4 and not impressed with Samsung's latest iteration compared to Xiaomi, Vivo and Honor (Wish I could use Huawei in Australia)

Huawei does full submergible water resistance on their foldables. Samsung and the Pixel fold as well. The V2 doesn't have a rating though. Dust resistance seems impossible for the moment likely due to the moving parts. Perhaps in the future.

I much prefer this over the Oppo n3 fold, the camera on Oppo is way too big, this v2 is so much simpler in design and the display spec looks better, good job again Honor

I've been waiting to see the Magic V2 to be officially available here since the Magic Vs has been the value-for-money champ in the foldable smartphone circle. However, at RM6,999, it's only RM300 less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 512GB. That's not much of a difference compared to the RM1,300 gap between the Magic Vs and the Z Fold 4/5 512GB.

No, from the Netherlands. Only drawback is Android auto. Everythings else works great, after the gms update.

Just checked out in hong kong store. The Crease is less visible than galaxy fold 5 and thinner! But i think it would be wise to only buy after few months to see if there are any big problems with screen among users feedback.

@@jackjhmc820 I can't say whether it's a good thing or not, just that it felt great when closed and I've never held something as thin as an opened magic v2. The hinge felt sturdy enough. The opened sides weren't easy to grip on like how people tuck a phone in their palm, so you'd have to pinch it on the back and inner screen when it's opened. It could cause some misclicks because of the small bezels. Edit: I forgot, you're right in assuming it. it was a factor in my intuition, to be extra careful not to drop, but not in the reason it felt too thin. I was more concerned with gripping and palming it.

Hi, have you tried using the honor v2 camera for video recording at max settings for long hours, and the phone still doesn't overheat? I encountered a message "your device is too hot" on my magic 4 pro when I recorded many videos continuously with my camera app for 1 hour+

I used to own a Magic VS and the screen cracked on me 2 times in just 6 months. It's frustrating having to claim for warranty every 3 months. IMHO, make sure you are prepared to deal with frequent screen cracks before you decide to get 1.

The phone was launched back in July last year. Definitely not "a couple of months back". Honor waited too long to release it. No one is buying a phone for this price with last year's chipset.

My only advice is get ur self an extended warranty and insurance for 2 years. I don’t know what’s the reliability of Oppo but I have Samsung fold 4 and yes the inner display broke but luckily i got free insurance and warranty to replace it.

A bit outdated video. Oppo Find N3 is a foldables king since it was released. As for Honor, it has not good software and slicky edges in comparison to Z Fold and Oppo Find

Sorry but the Open still isn't good enough. The number one concern consumers have about foldables is not the camera. It's the durability. The Open has fallen short in the area where it matters the most.
