I wish Honor Magic 6 Pro had a 4/6 or 10-stop variable aperture(f1.4 to f4.0) in the main cam and also a 2/4-stop variable aperture(f2.0 to f4.0) to on the 180 MP periscope telephoto cam with 3.5x optical zoom or 85mm focal length. Then it will become the ultimate camera phone.

Assuming that if I buy one for use here in the USA it will work fine if I am only getting it for the camera and occasional updates using wifi?

Overall the HONOR Magic6 Pro and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are two of the best phones from China in 2024 which can compete with Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max. I'm so glad that we have such a wide range of flagships to choose from 🥳

I sold my P60 Pro because even with microG some apps did not work or some important notifications. I have now a Google Pixel 8 pro, I do not like it at all for photo, the P60 pro was much better (and even my P30 pro). So I am looking for another phone, maybe a Honor Magic 6 pro.

I had Huawei P40 Pro and got 2TB of cloud storage for a very good price. I have a question: Would I be able to use that cloud storage for Honor Magic 6 Pro?

Loved this phone

i actually like the "softness" in the camera. i absolutely hate the trend of smartphone cameras to have the sharpest, even oversharpened images ever, i think the photos from this smartphone look great compared to a real camera! was considering a phone from the "big" like apple, samsung or google, but all these cameras look some kind of artificial, which i see less on the honor!

GSMArena are my go to site for comparison they rock and I wonder why their shots are in Sofia, Bulgaria. Are you guys based in Sofia?

If that phone had 3.5 optimal zoom instead 2.5, will be the best phone ever done by any company, all included (price, display, battery, selfie, performance). The 2.5 optimal zoom is a bit turn off from previous year magic5 pro. I know why they done it and give it with 180mp quality boost but still, people love optimal zooms. I hope they listen the complains and the next model come with 3.5 zoom or quad cameras on the back. Also the selfie of the phone is the best I have seen in any chinese phone. Impressive

this 2.5x zoom is like 3x on every other phone. Still has better details up to 10x than any phone rn especially in low light.

Newer Honor phone accept PD charging protocol. I get super charging for my Magic5 Pro using 65W PD wall charger with 2-meter 60W C-to-C cable which is fast enough so I can leave the original wall charger and cable in the box 😊

In the EU no. At least with the 2 bank apps I tried with. They mention face unlock but only offered me fingerprint. Im guessing it's only coded for iphones.

I just got this phone like 2 days ago and it's a beast! The other unbelievable thing is it is cheaper than S24 Ultra and iPhone by quite a lot.

@aleparty82 that's the problem with their unoptimised OS in my opinion. Good hardware but trash software. I had Oppo, Honor, Huawei, among other "flagship killers" along the years and I went back to Samsung since they all resisted for a maximum of 1 year, at best. Just spend the extra money for long time software support

idk why ppl are so against it like, have u try it? do you know that they have the option to resize their edge touch area if u have trouble on accidental touch? but tbh most of these phones display has evolved in a way that they're actually smart enough to recognize your accidental touch, i literally set mine to 100% on the edge touch area and never had trouble with it. didn't mean any offense, i just genuinely curious about the hate. well maybe the galaxy s6 edge had some issues with their edge touch, but this is not 2015 anymore lol

@@billyjosephus4885 Simply because the screen is unprotected and shatters too easily if the phone is hit on the side. Had to expensively change the screen on my Samsung Note 20 and continue to crack my screen protection every second month. Honestly, i'm tired of missing on the otherwise awesome quality of the screen.

the battery drain at night is really too much. However, I have the 5 pro and I don't think I'll upgrade... it's not worth it, especially after what I've heard from other reviews too... main lens is good but everything else it doesn't excel

It is quite durable as seen in various drop tests uploaded on KZread. It's not gorilla glass but they got their own kind forgot the exact name. This phone is a beast honestly and only a matter of getting used to their software/skin.

I own Magic5 Pro and I think will keep using it. For the sake of camera phone, my next one might be Vivo X100 Pro.

Wow, a lot of scenes in this video are captured in Sofia Bulgaria, I'm impresed by the phone specs for the price, and maybe it's better choice than Xiaomi 14 Ultra 😊

@@uabozo_ I ask why? because they wrote only Lte on the website, and it is not the same Lte in China and globally I had an honor magic5 pro which is sold globally and actually supports 4g, but Chinese 4g, which is worse in Europe, has a slower connection. that's why I say that they list all the parameters that concern the connection and signal, and not for some they write, and for some they don't. For example honor magic6 pro and maybe some others just wrote Lte. but whose Lte..

I recently put this comment on their website: I technically don't know what you can run on a 23nm chip, but interesting concept, with a circular speaker and two audio jacks. Probably, for people who still complain about newer phones do not come with an audio jacks, so we have two for you. 😁 This comment was somehow couldn't be posted according to their moderator. Could anyone say why?

especially the night photography and videos looks best amongst flagship

and Honor Magic 6 Pro's screen is really tough, Lim Review drop it like 7 times, no damage

If i hadn't bought a Samsung Galaxy Flagship last year this would be my first choice.

For the price, it's a great all rounder. Tho the only downgrade I dislike is the shorter 2.5x zoom from the 3.5x zoom of the Honor Magic 5 Pro. Otherwise, a good value flagship.

They give you a charger if you order before may 17th and can add on for £1 at checkout afterwards

S24 any version is virtually the same as 2yrs ago(I have s22+) Time for something different from a company that makes an effort, this could be it I think
